But they have used that number on a million subs!

Do they come far enough off of the case to be properly reshaped?

Yes I believe so!
But most watch modder's want pieces that they can easy move in and out to the next project...This one requires the watch pulled all back apart and the tube taken out and the crown seat cleaned out properly ...which the tube has to be token out anyways for the gen spec tube to be installed for the gen crown !

Looks kind of like after the tube is removed it should be milled down a hair anyway. It may just be the pictures but it looks like the crown is sitting a little higher from the case than the other one anyway. That would certainly solve the problem of the CG's being too short. If they are.

I would take the bezel off Pete's watch but I'm snowed under right now with work, plus I am starting to wind things down in prep for my upcoming vacation on the 15th of July when I go away for 15 days.

So SSTEEL confirmed that the pete195 sub isn't the same sub this morning!

So it's back to the grind to find out what maker made this sub...very unusual !

Also noticed when doing comparison with my other subs...that his crown is freakishly bigger than normal !
