rcom440 which model between those two do you honestly prefer if you had to pick one?

do you mean 111 and 005?
That’s a Very tough choice. I like 111 because of the sandwich dial, the way luminor marina and panerai wording is spaced out across the dial, minimalistic layout.
I like 005 because of the OP logo under the panerai wording on the dial, thickness of the numerals / hour markers.
if you want to buy one I’d say go with what your heart says. Go for the one you always wanted.

Go for a 44mm,you will love 111 or 005!
Both are amazing...

In my opinion a 44 submersible could be a first Pam too, impossible someone don’t love the look and feeling...

44mm submersibles are nice but good luck with finding one. Hopefully XF will rep pam24.

I’m not sure what to do. I started looking at Panerai because when I first got into Rolex years ago, everyone always said that it was only a matter of time before I got a PAM because of how good the reps were. My only reps now are a few gen-modded TC subs because any others I’ve had weren’t that good. I want a sandwich dial with a second hand, so a PAM111, but the only option is the Noob (not really Noob) V12, which doesn’t have great reviews. The first tell to me is the thick dial printing compared to the V11, which several TDs have told me is no longer available. The V11 apparently was the last one made by Noob before the V12 moved to a Noob subsidiary. Any ideas on what to do? This will be my one and only PAM. Wait for a V13? Skip a PAM altogether? Honestly even the 911 that Stromtroopwe4 shared looks pretty good, anyone have one?

Thanks everyone!

Good ideas rcom440. I have not seen the XF 005. I also just saw puretime has a V12s 005, maybe a V12 “s” version of the 111 is coming? The green 911 is tempting. Never had a green watch.

Green noob pam911 has some obvious flaws like incorrect cutouts (it’s actually dial used in noob pam111) and incorrect hands (hands are from noob pam390)

when it comes to potential 111 v12, we don’t know if it will be any better than v11 - noob lately is taking one step forward and two steps back. Same with their Rolex replicas; that’s why they are getting killed by VSF.

The NOOB V12 was already out for sale. I bought one and there are some differences compared to the V11.

The dial fonts (Luminor Marina Panerai) on the V12 are very slightly bolder compared to the fonts on the V11. The colour is also slightly different.
Another member highlighted that the alignment of the fonts are slightly out as well on the V12

The CG on the V12 seems to be made by a different supplier. The lever does not sit flush when closed fully compared to the CGs from older versions. The shape is a little different (very slight) and it appears to be thicker.

The V12 uses double AR, which is nice and highlights the dial but it is inaccurate as gen PAM111 only has single AR.

The screw bars provided in the V12 are inferior compared to the ones provided in the V11. The ones from V11 are longer with a polished flat end while the V12 is just shoddy. Take a look at the 390N post for what the new screw bars look like

I suppose that's what Andrew from Trusty meant when I asked him about the updates between V11 and V12. He said "updated case set". Whether that's an update, I'll leave that question open to interpretation

I actually meant v13 or whatever version is planned next. To me it seems noob is going backward with pams and also with rolex reps. Daytonas are still their best reps. Everything else is pretty much way behind the competition.
