Deciding on first PAM

127 vs 111, both noob, size difference.
I think 127 doesn’t look huge comparing to 44mm 111.
it fits my 7.35 inch wrist quite flat.

I think 127 looks great on your wrist.

It's also because the width of your wrist is wider than the diameter of 127.

I could clear 111 diameter but 127's diameter was wider than the width of my wrist. Also the domed crystal made the watch ridiculous big on my wrist.

it actually looks bigger on those pictures than it really is. For some reason pics I took make watches looks big.

Its possible you could pull 127 if you put it on the right strap. Straps can make a huge difference.

Oh no... I could not... Lol. I had a 127 rep once and it looked so ridiculous on my wrist. My buddy had a gen 217 and he brought it over to my house one time. I got to try it on (and boy it was gorgeous) but it looked straight up stupid on my wrist lol. Even with my 005, I am pushing the limit.

Fiddy looks great on your wrist though.

I wish my 111 had a whiter lune. I got a cheap 111 from DHgate and the lume is way off. I don’t even know which factory it comes from but it’s the one that has the “officcine panerai” lettering at the back too light and messy. I suspect it’s an earlier noob, v1 or v2.

Lume too green in my opinion. Whenever I see pics of a gen 111, they always appear white to me

I gained about 30 pounds since the lockdown so maybe it looks better on my wrist than before lol.

In real life the lumes don't look this thick or white. It's very ivory without hardly any green hue. Sausage Lume application on this particular version seems okay but it could be better. I wonder how the new XF 005 sausage dial looks.

I don’t think you need to upgrade to XF. We are putting way too much emphasis on those small flaws that only hardcore RWI Panerai people are aware of.
Wear it and enjoy it.

Yeah definitely not upgrading. I think mine is close enough lol. With this and 288k, I got my Pam fix.

I'm pushing the limits with a 44mm luminor case. The 1950s 44mm looks a little too big on my 5.9-6" wrist due to how much the corners flare out.

I hope VSF does a 1950s PAM2392 in 42mm. I'd love to have a 1950s case

I had a Ken Trading RXW MM20 once, sold it after 2 weeks or so. Although I really liked that dial, it was just too big, cumbersome and outright goofy

You can find a Pam 927 and 978 in AliExpress,so they definitely have the 42mm 1950 case already.

I'd put in my vote for PAM 1312. They look too sexy too refuse.. lol

These models have been around for a while now so the movements being used are fairly good imo. Others can add their views but I wouldn't be too worried for the movements for either models.
