Seriously! Thank you for the share and the quality is good, I modify the chapter ring and the text to gold, and it comes out a bit tropical orange because I almost finish my colour ink, thank you so much.

Is your"gold" ink REAL METALLIC SHINY ink ???
If not you will lack the shine of the polished copper or gold plating

Thanks mate, you're not the first to suggest this. Several designers offered to help me and started drawing with illustrator… they all gave up

Bart, if you're still interested I've drawn up a complete illustrator vector version of the 6538 dial. I'm on vacation for thanksgiving currently, but I can send it your way this Sunday if you'd be interested in test printing it. I'll be doing so myself as soon as possible, but I'm sure you'd have a better idea of what needs to be changed.

I know it's almost all about GILT decal dials here, but I've been working on something else today.
I already tried that a few months ago but I've improved the design ... and my skills I think [emoji39]
It still needs to be varnished, a little aged and lumed of course so the process would take some days.
But I'm already quite happy with the result [emoji7]

As it was "dials day" today I also did a better 16800 COMEX dial for the watch I built for my son, and a POLIZIA DI STATO Sea-Dweller dial ... all I can say is that designing the [emoji223] was a real PITA [emoji23]

My A/6538 tropical Burford dial is ... OK IMHO.
I achieved to get some nice texture so I won't modify it a lot now.
I'll probably finely sand some areas to get a more matte texture and that's all until the lume (I'll do that altogether with the hands, that still need some aging).

That custom 16600 have been made in 2008 as a limited run of 78 pieces only :ranting2:

But I'm quite certain there wil be a 79th (or more ?) in a few months :matty:I still have to improve some technical details and I'll be ready to mod a 16600 dial

Next week I'll do a test of electrolytic etching on a spare caseback ... cause a Polizia Di Stato MUST have that specificaly engraved caseback
