The end result is good thoughIt must not have been the good day to make this lume. I had to go back three times to get a satisfactory result. A 4 hours work.

Dial is nice, I keep it. I had so much pain to find a 1655 dial to erase.
Lume is badly done, I’ll erase it.

That way you'll get "gold colour" but you'll never get a polished surface ... so it won't catch the light.
If you don't want to go the "gold plated way" you'd better just mirror polish the copper dial plate.
But, as far as I know, it seems "gold plated" is the "French Touch" on gilt dials [emoji39]
