Sale approved. What does it mean?

Once the sale is approved does that mean that RWI mod/staff confirms that the watch, spare, etc.. being sold matches the description of the sale?

For example, if some is selling a genuine strap or dial and sale gets approved, does that mean RWI confirms that those items listed are genuine?

Means they check sales rules are being followed. I'm sure if they saw something shady they would flag it straight away but many times the members will chime in if they see something suspicious. Admin and mods rely on everyone here to be vigilant and look out for one another because they can't have eyes everywhere.

No. The staff members are not appraisers. Approval to sell is simply approval to sell here. The buyer must conduct their own due diligence. Here or anywhere other than at an AD, do your homework.

Problem is, what if someone buys quickly, before a Mod or member discovers a glaring issue? It happens.

Um, no. We are not your keepers or you mothers. Due diligence is down to you to perform.
All it means is that the post meets the requirements ie: seller has enough posts to sell, there is a tagged pic and there are no glaring inconsistencies in the post.
