I rubbed off the decal at 11:00. New one is on the way from HR but it is a 20-30 day wait for it to get here from Hong Kong.
It was my first mod so I cant be upset. Happens to everyone. @tripdog said to post for sale for around $20 to help recoup cost of new one.
Ouch ! How did you damage the paint ?
It only remains to sand and use it for decal support.
I used too strong of a chemical to clean off. Once happened it was too late.
Will post for sale soon.
Do the dial still have feets ?

After 3 varnish layers.
Another varnish layer applied this evening. I hope it's the last one. We will see...

WOW You are really taking this to another level.!! Were you finding that the brass was not as gilt as you were hoping? its hard to tell from the pics but they looked great!
They look great with the gold leaf!....I can hardly wait to see the Tropical dials with the gilt ....these are gonna blow minds!!
