Alright, you two. This goes no further. This is not the appropriate thread for that discussion. We are handling that situation and the address has been removed. Do NOT bring that discussion outside of that subforum...

Thanks.

Hey good to see you guys are making up  It really wasn't worth it.
PF: I'm sure you'll score better next time. Will tweak the method to make it more reliable and will also get some input from members here.

Astonished to read this thread.

A new customer was going on about how they dont understand why i have bad ratings...

I had no idea what they were talking about as my reviews speak for themselves. I was under the impression they had actually mistook my ID on the forum for someone else.

Infact i was so convinced by this ,as I rarely have issues with customers. I actually took the time to look on all forums to find this so called negative reviews being posted about me with no joy.. I had to email my customer again to ask "I really think you may have confused me for another dealer, regarding the negative reviews. Would you mind sending me the link to where you saw this"?

After seeing this thread i am quite dissapointed.

-MOST MISLEADING THREAD I HAVE READ OUT OF ALL OF THE BOARDS, AND IM STILL SUPRISED ITS UP!!

We have a dealer review section for people to post reviews which remains accurate... good or bad reviews should be posted there. Its worked well up until now. But now we also have this *%^$%$ (non accurate) thread, showing statistics which can easily swing a customers mind based on what??????.....

If this thread was composed by 100 people who have bought something from all of the dealers, then i would say fair enough, as they have experienced a transaction from each dealer and can comment. In my opinion.... very very misleading thread, my advice to all customers would to read the dealer review section first and make your judgement on more accurate stats....

In my opinion keeping this thread has just confused people, especially newbies. Quite embarrasing for a newbie customer to have pointed this out.

It has also taken some highly respected dealers and put them down on the bottom of the list, which im sure is not the case.

Your comments are noted PT... but I think that it has already been admitted that the results should not be taken as gospel.... they are a first attempt...

I do think though that this rating does show that the more prevalent you are on RWI, the closer to the top you were... it is no surprise to me that those who are rarely around anymore are towards the bottom...

As for searching for bad press PT, let me help you...

viewtopic.php?f=30&t=47344&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=49268&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Two threads that ran within the past 60 days... higher visibility on RWI would help...

I read both those threads when you posted them before and I didn't see them as a negative reviews then, and I don't see them as a negative review now  :p

One guy posts because he has to wait for a reply over the Xmas period when everyone is really busy, and another in which he complains about the weak £ against the $.....

There are no bad reviews of any purchases from PT, across all of the boards. You will simply not find one, and I have searched :D

Keep up the good work PT and thanks for all the great watches. Please don't let the utter nonsense in this thread get to you. I sincerely hope it does not effect your business, but it seems it may already have done so, for shame RWI.....

they're not bad reviews.

but they are bad press as LOS mentioned. and bad press can easily be avoided if a dealer is on the board more frequently to answer PM's and other queries

<sigh>

Mickey, this isn't the first time it's been posted here, or on RWGjr. For the last fricking time, THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RWI RATING SYSTEM.

It is the pet project of a single member here.

As this thread breaks NO RULES of the forum, what right would we have in taking it down?

Just because one of your favorite dealers was rated poorly doesn't justify censoring things, IMO.

PT, I understand your frustration, but as LOS pointed out -- the subjectiveness of these results has been discussed AD NAUSEUM in several threads. If people still don't get it, you probably don't want those types as customers, regardless.

I would agree that they are not "negative".... but they do affect perception.... this is satisfaction and recommendations...

For shame RWI? Thanks for the laugh.... I don't really think PT cares much about RWI anyways as exhibited by his lack of posts and ads... if he wishes to disassociate himself with RWI due to all of the business we have "cost" him, then he can feel free to ask to be removed... and I don't mean that in a negative way... i wouldn't want any dealer on here being here if their existence here is hurting them...

My suggestion would be for PT to post more and work to overcome a poll like this... take it as an educational experience and understand that a lack of interaction on RWI with potential customers will cause others to not recommend him... there is more to being a preferred dealer than providing a watch in a timely manner... that is the only thing that should be taken from this poll...

This poll does not say PT is a bad dealer.... it says people feel you will get more satisfaction out of your buying experience with another dealer.... that's all...

tough crowd here. This poll should only affect a small percentage of any dealers sales either negatively or positively. If ppl are being swayed, it's probably the newbies that aren't reading the rest of the thread and just going off of the poll results without any past experience with any particular dealer. Despite any dealer being near the bottem of the list, ppl who have had good experiences with such dealer will continue to buy from them regardless of this poll's rating (ie Jandrew).

IMO the poll coincides with the forums purpose, to bring both dealers and customers together, so that customers can get the best reps available at fair prices and/or a good buying experience. Rating high on this poll only encourages said dealers to continue working hard to earn and keep member's business. Rating lower, will encourage dealers to be more active on the forum, improve customer service and or prices.

As a noob myself, I am glad to have the knowledge and experience of this forum in its entirety, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
It would be helpful if members could see how many ppl voted in this poll. The results would have an entirely different meaning if members could see if 10 vs 200 ppl voted.
