I'd also like to change the crystal to a Deep on my 116520, any chance you could share which gasket you used to get the crystal to sit flush? And what tools are necessary?
I have Deep crystals on all of my Clean Daytonas and just use the stock gasket.

I have a crystal press from Amazon and bezel removal tool from Aliexpress (but it’s also found on Amazon). I’ve changed in total over a dozen of my crystals using these two tools.

There’s a good tutorial here as well. He removed the whole movement which is unnecessary and he admits that later but it’s well written with good pictures.

This guy has a hell of a setup...
It’s nowhere as intimidating as that guide might suggest. I basically only followed the second half. I didn’t remove the Caseback or movement at all.

I recommend using heat tape as well. Works great for protecting the case and I also use it to remove any dust from the underside of the crystal as it leaves zero residue (kinda like the tape that comes with most glass screen protectors).

Which base watch would you say it's better for a franken, CF or BTF? Thx :)
I honestly dont have too much experience in modding/franken, both have their positives and strengths over the other, but in my opinion based off the two watches I have in hand, the btf clasp/bracelet feel better, clean has better bezels
