I think the old Noob cases did this correctly? But none of the current factories do it this way AFAIK.
if we wanna be REAL period correct, there are 2 paths

1. MK1 dial, old school case (like your pic), and old style clasp
2. MK2 dial, new style case with double lugholes and new style clasp :)

yes im afraid so.... do you recommend any specific TD to buy the case and bezel from? dont want to buy another daytona before my panda delivers LOL
If you want just the parts, it depends on your relationship with the TD, I mostly deal with Jtime & Ctime.

But I would just get the whole watch, since you are only changing the dial and strap. Any CF 116519 on rubber (and steel bezel) would be a good base

If you're after a bracelet or strap build.

This is a 116509 vs 116519 case. Note the difference in lug hole placement.
I where under the impression that you could put a bracelet on a 116519 case. Is the above both from CF?

Here is a buff dial MK2. It has a weird marvel/stone effect that’s not correct, and the subdials are to big (Inner diameter)

at this point screw it ill get it too, pls share the source... do they also carry the other colors?
since you're going for the strap.. one huge, HUGE tip i can offer is make sure the strap is made/done by someone who knows the dial and can match the hue/turqoise exactly. it makes a huge difference in its presentation.

look at my own beach.. this was right after it was finished.

I ruined the strap so i had to get a replacement and well.. it doesn't quite, "match up".. i can most definitely tell the difference.

i'm not sure if the person who built my beach knew the one who made the strap but basically i can't get it now because they're retired :( so i have to "settle" for this replacement strap i sourced off of italy. maybe in time the turqoise would fade to match the dial :) eventually.. maybe.

there's a reason you seldom see the Beachtona and that's cuz it's hard to match up all the pieces required to make the recipe work.
