Dark red/ Burgundy straps

The strap by orloff belongs to member Takoxavy.

I have the PAV91, and I actually met up with him and compared the two straps. His strap is remarkably close in colour to the PAV91, I personally will go with the orloff on a modern pam, and the PAV91 on a pre-v pam.

The orloff is thicker, more pliable, and is a slightly lighter shade of red.
The PAV91 is rugged, has a more rich colour of red, and is thinner. The comfort of both are the same.

PAV91 is expensive if you can't find it second hand.

Are you the owner of those 2 pictures i posted of the burgundy strap??? Can you tell that its pretty reddish color in real life? I just want to make sure its reddish burgundy and not a brownburgundy. What is the name of the leather? SIENA? How do you like the strap and do you still have it? Any new pics? haha


Silverclaw, I have a PAM111, that is a moderm pam right? I think it will look good! If you say the orloff strap is lighter in color, i would like that more. The strap will get dark over time on its own anyways. If its too dark in the first place, it wont really get any darker. Im sure the PAV91 is a nice strap. I just want to find a burgundy that has more red in it. Orloffs strap is worth it i think. I want to get mine with matching burgundy stitching.

Anyone know who is the owner of this burgundy strap? It looks like a burgundy croc? It looks really nice but want to see more pictures! One day i will probably get a black pam like the 026k or 386 and then i can use my straps between that and the pam111.

Oh wow this croco alligator burgundy is awesome. I guess this is OEM and must be expensive. I like how you can clearly see its a burgundy color and not brown. Hard decisions.. burgundy croc/alligator or burgundy leather

The problem is nobody (strapmakers) can get this kind of skin and also in burgundy color.

I decided to get a burgundy crocodile from Orloff. I received a sample of his burgundy croc and its a perfect burgundy color

yes thats a a nice real burgundy color. It has no brown at all which is goood. Who is the maker? I think its Toshi strap in plum color? I saw this picture in another forum before
