I don't think you're the bad guy here but, before you drop 1k+ on a fake watch you should do your research and evaluate the modifications offered.

There are tonnes of threads here about the Clean Pepsi, and none of the mods you paid for are even mentioned or needed for them.

The only thing is swapping crystal and bezel (even then those are optional). Buddy next time you spend 1k on a watch, do a little research about it.

You complain about the bezel being not like gen but this is expected... there are a million threads saying Clean bezel action is ass.

And please do post pictures of QC and what you recieved. I will happily eat my words and apologize to you. I am a big proponent of getting what you paid for.

Op you need to chill. Admins already stepped in so they will make this right. While I relate to your situation completely, I can't say that I like your attitude towards to seller in those chat messages. You are escalating the situation to a point beyond repair.

Hahahahaha yes posting my reaction after 5 days of no answer

And you wonder why he stopped replying to you ?

Not getting the watch you paid for is unacceptable, but FYI bombarding a seller with neurotic vitriolic rants every 60 seconds and wishing death on him and his family is also completely unacceptable.

I'm not surprised he didn't offer you a solution to the issues - if there were any. You weren't able to clearly point out what the supposed issues were, and thought insults and threats would get you what you wanted. Standard behaviour for a Zoomer/Yoomer.

How disappointing.

I had attempted to advise OP on a "flies with honey" approach with overseas dealers yesterday however, the damage was already done. Sadly, I had a suspicion that this would be the case as far as profanity and abuse go.

I do hope everything works out with the watches though.

Lets not open a Help Desk ticket. Lets give CTime, who are after all making a very comfortable profit from these sales, be given the opportunity to put this mess right.
Somebody from CTime was online earlier today - maybe it was Mr Wang, or maybe it was CTime himself. Whoever it was decided it wasn't necessary to read, or reply to this thread.

Now if the seller can't be bothered to deal with dissatisfied customers I really don't see why this shit pile should end up in the lap of unpaid staff.
Instead, what we could do is remove from the forum sellers who don't want satisfied customers - it's win - win, for both members and staff.

That's largely irrelevant. Ignoring an unhappy round eye will lead to an equally negative outcome.
Sorry the other logging in was from my boss and she doesn't speak English, she can only translate it and see what you guys were talking about.
I was on my days off for last few days, so didn't have chance to reply you guys, sorry again.

@CTime Is it possible to share the pic of the completed pinion mod please? No problem if this is not possible of course. I'm sorry that you had to hear so much abusive language via your work.
We didn't take close up pictures of his exact watch, I only have ones that other clients asked for

Here is before and after, it's very hard to see with eyes

The burden of proof is on you now. Your photos are lacking quality. I'd love to see more photos of the watch currently we can compare to the QC pictures.

But frankly, after reading your messages to the TD, I'm concerned you threw a fit like you did to the TD, threw down the watch, and the bezel popped off and the link "broke".

The TD has been perfectly transparent and you can't even identify if the watch you ordered is a clean.

I think as we dig more into this we are going to find more inconsistencies in your story. It's up to you to be transparent and win people to your side with objective facts, not threats or whining.

@CTime I had wanted to see a picture of his watch 'pinion mod' to see if the work looked good because he says he cannot see it.
Is the - 'waterproof upgrade $48' this customer paid for only tested to 2 bar then please?

Any modern cell phone camera should be able to pick that up without a loupe. Looking forward to OP's photos of the mod.

Again, OP cannot even identify the watch as a clean, which could be done via bracelet code and serial on the rehault. He needs to post photos here for us to evaluate.

The 48$ service is to change two sealing rubbers and the gasket of the crystal, then go through 2 bar test for 150 seconds.

That's a high price for such a service even by European standards...
And yet the customer could have easily looked at the cost elsewhere OR paid for the convenience of having it done at CTime. This is about convenience, and frankly, if I had been offered the option for $48 and I wanted a waterproof watch, and I did not have to ship it or find a local watch smith, that's a bargain, and I'd do it.

Dude, the tiny 2 bar they test a watch to is barely testing that it's even rainproof...

But lots of people are not understanding this and seemingly paying such a price for the service.

I had the same for €15

This thread is already enough of a mess - lets stick to the original topic.

Did the OP get what he paid for, was the work carried out to a satisfactory standard.

It's not about the pricing structure of the mods offered. The prices are high, but nobody is forced to pay for them, they are optional extras.

Until the OP posts clear and in focus pics of the watch he received then no progress can be made to resolve any of his claims.

Serious question for the experts of this model...

Have others reported the Clean bezel issues? Specifically, have members received watches with detached and over-greased bezels, or had the bezel fall off shortly after receipt?

Over greased. 100% yes. This is a feature of clean, not a bug. Clean do this intentionally.

Bezel falling off? Yes. Many have reported this happens. People have been modifying the hytrel ring to prevent this.

Example: https://www.reddit.com/r/RepTime/comments/16axm5g

The weak point of the clean is the bezel. There are threads about just making the bezel better, modifying the ring, removing the grease, etc.
