i am 100% sure I used the correct tap. I have tested 3 different tap sets the last months. With all I have the same problem.
The taps that i used above 3x0.35 and 3x0.25

Check the inner threads with a loupe, make sure they are complete thru the tube and no metal is folded into the the threads.

I like to back out frequently when tapping to clear the metals flaskes out.

if all good, then I personally would just screw in the tube with loctite on it, and give it a little more oomphf like karbon mentioned. I use a torx but in the tube to screw it in.

I just found also this from Rolex manual in the internet. It says 3x0.30 thread. I don't know if there are new type 7 mm tubes with the 0.35 thread instead of the 0.30.

Yes it is expensive but at the end I think you are right cuz I've reading and found out that the oem Rolex tap is 3.0mmX0.30
I know the 0.30 exist but not common yes check that out with the ebay seller if it's 3.0X0.30 pitch that is the right one.
Let me tell you that I've discovered that cousins in the UK also advertise it as 3.0X0.35 I really don't know what is the mystery
Here.

I have used the taps from cousins as well as their tubes and does not fit. I am also confused cuz all around the web they sell the 3x0.35 and I cannot understand how people use them. Maybe they brute force the tubes inside. But then the installation will not be correct ( e.g sealing issues).

I don't know if there are also new tubes with the 0.35 thread.
I am using the original specification tube C33419

The ebay seller confirmed that the correct tap is the 3x0.3.
Unfortunately his tap is not for cutting new thread but only for repair damaged treads.
So Rolex uses a non standard pitch thread in the cases that uses 7 mm tubes.

Regarding your question, the pitch is 0.30mm. Thank you.
This product is a single piece of 3.0mm (new B type). The pitch has been changed to be easier to match with the original tube than the previously sold B type. This product is for use in cases where the tube cannot be completely closed in a genuine middle case that already has a tube attached, and is not a tap to create a new screw hole.

The easiest way I know is to check the threads on your tube with the thread gauge and buy the corresponding tap. Everything else becomes irrelevant. I admit I typically use a lathe to cut threads because it gives me a better thread but that’s neither here nor there. Just saying

Nice idea. I just managed to measure the thread with a tool that i found laying around. The thread is 3x0.30
Please check the pictures. Not the best quality but the thread is that.
Does anyone have any picture with a gen tube with a 0.35 pitch to share and compare?

So you are a machinist ? I used to own a machine shop for 40 years so I used to be machinist too, I really miss my machines
I am about to buy a little lathe just for my projects
