Sorry dude, I couldn't resist, I'm messing around.

Firstly to clarify that V6.5 name is not correct

V6 is not a version is the name we gave to the HBB maker of the Version after V5 and then V6.
So V6 is the name of a maker. lastly we are saying V6Fac to avoid mistakes

Then the so-called version V6.5 is correctly called as V6 V2 or V6 Mk2 or V6Fac V2 or V6Fac Mk2 .

If we call V6.5 to V6 Mk2, What will do with the next version?
We cannot say V7 because V6 is the correct name of the maker, and besides V7 is another existent version.

That said V6 Mk2, or whatever you like, have colourless AR instead of bluish like V6 first versions. Just THAT

Most likely if you ask a dealer for a V6 version you will receive V6 Mk2 because first version will be out of stock many time ago

I think the reason why the 15400 isn't considered a super is because it has a display case back, but I think if it stays on the wrist, it should definitely be considered a super. I love mine.

Also, the JF 15400 is around 10% thicker than gen.....which IS a big deal.

Is the article claiming JF15400 v2 to be gen thickness? I have a v2J and it feels a lot thicker than gen.

remember that even if the rep is 0.5-1mm thicker than gen, this equates to an extra 5-10% thickness....which completely changes the design intent IMO.

Currently, the watch made by J12 factory is the most popular and it has the thickness of 11mm.
However, the gen watch's thickness is 9.8mm. So, we modified the watch's caseback and managed
to make it 9.85~9.9mm

Some people have already had locolouise's case thinning mod on the 15400 and reported it feels as good as gen. Can't find the posts but quick search will reveal it. With his mod, could be considered a first class rep with the V2J version (rather than the v2) due to better tap etc. on the blue but white is still quite far off apparently and some much needed QC is still needed. However, even with loco's mod, still not super rep status imo.
