Lol what? I have seen plenty of people with fingertips like that... not uncommon to see flush hands.

Also it's not potato quality. You can see it in 1080p here if you sign up for a Youku account, it's crystal clear:

You see plenty of people with orange hands? Where do you work - Sunny Delight?

Any camera can shoot in 1080p - this isn’t 2002.

His hands aren't orange, it's just flush - and I see that generally with asians often. I'm surprised you have never seen this.

And yes - any can - I wasn't bragging about 1080p being next-gen tech. I was making the point that the video was not potato quality.

Third, here is another video on the Clean GRNR, by an entirely different, renowned Chinese reviewer:

And yet, the gold tone is exactly the same as the gold tone in the other video. Like literally the exact same cheddar tone. Or does he have some underlying skin conditions too? Might be a conspiracy.

Update: actual QC pictures of both color, they are available now

Thank you Ctime!, Rehaut alignment is actually perfect on this one which is a step forward from the first pictures you sent. But im still unsure about the two-tone gold color. In lighntin it looks kinda decent but in darker light it really is deep yellowish. The full gold one hurts my eye to be honest :D

Yep, color is too dark yellow.

It's still a great release and Clean is on top of the rolex game, this is not me trying to knock them; I have their platona on the way.

No factory has currently gotten gold right, it's not a Clean issue, it's a rep issue in general. We have replaters for a reason.

true.

But the big question is: Ordering now or waiting for a potential next batch with better plating?

Theres no other model which interests me more currently (maybe the clean chocolate dial yachtmaster) but well

Reps have always been off with their gold and I doubt it will be 1:1 any time soon. I'd get it now and replate it if the color bothers you in person still.

It's cheddar cheesy.
Without a side by side gen in the same pic, it's not a complete representation. In this first collage, the CLEAN looks way better than the gen Skydweller.

If the CLEAN GMTs are the same as the CLEAN Subs, the plating on these models will satisfy most of us.
