Every brand or every factory has different color on 18k gold, not to mention the plating factory. I assume it's really hard for the factories to get them right, cuz I never see one correct color from plating

I must be blind. I have a CF yellow gold daytona on oysterflex and it is very close to color of gen. But both my BTF and CF rosegold are not as close. The BTF is clearly different.

My first gold BT Tona was orange, I had to have it plated to wear it. It was awful until the real color was applied.

Then, a year later I bought the same version of the same watch, identical in every way and the yellow is PERFECT. My mind was blown. It’s so nice I cancelled my plating plans completely.

The point of my post: maybe some colors are improving from some places or maybe a few places have gotten it right? Don’t know but I’m pleased with THIS gold and think the topic watch of this thread looks like CF hit the mark!

Sorry if unclear (and seeming OT)y yellow CF ownership is zero. I’ve seen, serviced and handled MANY however. None looked bad/odd/off to me in any way

Got a few QC pictures for this model and the following differences between CF and Gen was found.

- Rehaut misaligned
- Grey Color on bezel is darker on CF
- Bezel was cut different on sides, not as deep cuts on CF as on Gen.

They seem to have fixed the Bezel numbers, they looked pretty good as far as i could tell.
Will be waiting for next batch, hoping some is fixed by then (Wishful thinking)

Got it from Ctime, i had it reserved since some time back thats why i got it so fast
I had a hard time deciding if i should pull the trigger now or wait for next batch, decided to wait.

Also the watch can be ordered on their website already.

Is it just me or is the gold plating color not like the typical gold tone CF has been using for their other two-tone/YG watches?

This seems way darker than what they usually plate with.

Same here, the yellow is too intense, you can see this better in the QC pics the member posted vs CTime. I think I'll be getting a plate job on this one, since I've been looking forward to this release for a while!
