Clean GMT-II Pepsi updated bezel insert V2/V2s review and comparison

After reading all these posts.. is my Clean Factory GMT Master II Pepsi V1 still a desirable version? From what I can tell, everyone with a new Pepsi has the same Y2L3 or L6V6 serial # so my V1 (Y8C clasp code) is unique in that way. I purchased in April of 2022 and it's still going strong. No mods, never serviced the original VR3185 movement. Still looks great. The red is a little rusty colored, but maybe at some point gen was like that.

Should I look into upgrading the crystal and gasket? What about the bezel? Or just forget it and get the latest V3S?

Dial print on the v1 and v2 pre 2023 is best dial out there on replicas. Modern one is too thin.

I was wrong about mine being V1. It's a V2 since it has the lip bezel and correct length minute hand. I'm planning on sourcing a V3S bezel, upgrading the crystal and calling it a day. I can get the V3S bezel for 1150cny.

Can anyone confirm this is a v3s bezel? It appears to be bright under UV light, but the red looks more tomato colored and not pastel like the ones I've seen as of late.

Yes blue side glows to red under uv light

My opinion is just to pick the one you like. For me I don't really see any point to upgrade unless you have a v1. Otherwise you will chase and chase, easy to keep chasing perfection haha. V2 is as good as V3 for me.

I have sent my Pepsi to 2 modders, one for service and one for lip mod and I see that my V2 the blue doesn’t turn red anymore… I suspect it has been swapped.

Is it worth getting or just stick with v3?
