Looking good!New arrival! v3 from CTime, it also reacts perfectly to UV even the blue part turns red. really a big upgrade compared to v1 two years ago!
I haven't noticed any rotor noises yet, I purchased it around mid-March, and it arrived yesterday, so 12 days of shipping.Looking good!
Any rotor noise?
How long did it take from placing the order to receiving it?
Thanks for sharing.
I saw you were from Sweden, me to
Very nice. Who did the crystal work for you? I just ordered the same and Ctime is doing the mods for me.
Ctime did the mod. But I actually shaved the gasket slightly more when I got itVery nice. Who did the crystal work for you? I just ordered the same and Ctime is doing the mods for me.
The rotors on the Dandong 32xx movements are noisy just like the 32xx series of Gen. Rolex even tried to do something about it. They made new rotors with like 16 bearings instead of the original, I believe it was 7 bearings. It still had noise. Some watches are noisier than others but it’s not horrible. I personally feel it more than actually hearing it but it’s not the biggest problem with the Dandong 32xx series of movements in my opinion. The biggest problem is there’s no parts for them other than Gen. Just my $0.02Supposedly the durability of the movement is good is something I’ve established from reading comments here, is this movement noisy though? My final question before I pull the trigger.
Noisy movement as a complaint makes me laugh the most because gen watches can be loud too.... wait until people find out that a 30k Rolex also has loud rotors.... even the Nautilius which is a 100k watch has complaints that the rotor is noisy lmaoThe rotors on the Dandong 32xx movements are noisy just like the 32xx series of Gen. Yes. I get a kick out of it too. A loud rotor from a $500 rep doesn’t bother me near as much as it would if I shelled out $30k. It is worth checking the rotor screw to make sure it’s tight and add a little Moebius 9010 to the bearing. My v2 was "loud"...not loud loud as vsf pams.
My v3 is without any sound out of the box.
I like xing's Blue bezel, but I prefer the red of V3. xing's red looks pink. exactly agree as @Digitaldorifto said.
Left: New CF (126710), Right: VRF base, XING insert, Gen xtal
XING is more like MK1, CF V3 rather MK3. Both are more or less correct colorwise. Depends on what you prefer. I prefer to have bothI like xing's Blue bezel, but I prefer the red of V3. xing's red looks pink. exactly agree as @Digitaldorifto said.
Can I ask you how is the quality overall?
I’m sure hoping the watches I’m waiting for aren’t going to be rushed so they won’t have rotor issues. Trusty says movements are QDed. We will see.
