I have photos of my older gen 116509 with the slate arabic dial, and it looks extremely close.

Yes on the wrist these watchesparts bezels are good to go. People who can tell the difference between WG and SS will know anyway it is fake.
But I guess these people are very rare in the real world.

Is it just me or is the coronet hole a bit larger on the Clean again?

I've seen a few people mention this, is this not just the lighting? The colour of Daytona on the gen version is dark and also hard to read in certain lighting conditions.

It looks to me like on the Clean version the font is maybe a shade or two too dark, but I imagine in hand the difference is very minimal. Ideally we need some comparison pics with gen in hand to say for sure!

Looks like a solid release from Clean once again. I went through the thread quickly and so far I noticed that the font serif is too stretched that makes the letters "ET" in perpetual almost touching... I don't know how visible that will be on wrist distance though

I was tempted to stick a gen bezel and black and red alligator strap on this to look closer to gen so might just punt on the v1 anyway. I'll be the guinea pig
