Well you're right about using a gen dial as I have had experience with doing a Hulk franken. The VSF dial is the same as gen with diameter of 27.3mm. As I wanted to use a CF V2S dial, my watchsmith has had to shave it down from its 27.8mm size
Recently I have another member who's got a 116613LB ARF dial and he told me the diameter is 28.3mm. I consider the dial to be the best among all rep Bluesys

I see it now. Do the factories purposely left something out so they have something to promote for their next version? I mean yeah, it take time to rectify every flaws but if they made a perfect one there’s nothing left to market a new version and get fans to keep buying/upgrading to a new version? They do often get ironically raided when they get darn close to perfect.

Nah, if they can make a perfect one, then they can sell the shit out of them until the Genuine gets changed.

I could be wrong, but it looks like CF updated their crown guards. IMO they look better now.

Here is some recent QC:

Looks like it, you're an early beneficiary if that's the case then. Received mine just 2 weeks ago and they are still vertical.

Damn... butter fingers, so as I was saying

I also have a VSF Hulk which has since then been frankened (gen bezel, insert, DW, glass with AR+LEC, hands, CF V2.5 dial). I used one of my 116610 bracelet to complete the build.

Overall dimensions and profile of VSF unit are very very good but not the dial. BP dial was the best, probably followed by CF V2 and V2.5 (they're almost the same). But VSF dial is, IMHO, at least one shade too light and it is it's only achilles heel.

Just my 2 cents worth

The VSF hulk dial kills the whole thing. You need to swap BP or ZF dials.

Looks like they got the angle on the case sides. I need to see pics without stickers to determine if they have fixed the CG's. I wonder what if any new issues have replaced the fixed ones?

If they fixed the CGs I can't see why I'd choose a VSF over a CF for a Hulk atm! The greener insert and centered datewheel edge it for me. I'd still source a ZF dial though I think

Can I ask from which TD did you order it from? Mine is from Trusty and I'm guessing it's an older batch issue.

How's the CG shape from above? it's not just the angle that was bad. CF was too diagonal/straight - VSF had the correct scalloped shape...
