Have a look at VSF, it's looks better. It has correct case profile and crown guards shape and crystal height. The only thing this one is better at is the rehaut and some argue the dial makers are better than VSF but I have VSF and gen and I cannot tell them apart.

I also have a VSF Hulk which has since then been frankened (gen bezel, insert, DW, glass with AR+LEC, hands, CF V2.5 dial). I used one of my 116610 bracelet to complete the build.

Overall dimensions and profile of VSF unit are very very good but not the dial. BP dial was the best, probably followed by CF V2 and V2.5 (they're almost the same). But VSF dial is, IMHO, at least one shade too light and it is it's only achilles heel.

Received my V4 today. Was happy until I saw glue or some sort of residue on the dial. Pretty bummed. Can only be seen at certain angles. With that said my first and last Clean/ZZF.

Just an update. I went to my local watch smith to get the replacement dial installed. It was found that the imperfection was only traces of oil on the origanl dial. It wiped off and the dial is now spotless.

I'll be listing the other V4 dial on here or Ebay if anyone is interested.

Clean gold and rehaut are noticeably better than vsf..

From the side. The CGs side on the CF have their sides vertical when they should be at an angle, with the top slightly shorter than the bottom

I see it now. Do the factories purposely left something out so they have something to promote for their next version? I mean yeah, it take time to rectify every flaws but if they made a perfect one there’s nothing left to market a new version and get fans to keep buying/upgrading to a new version? They do often get ironically raided when they get darn close to perfect.

Crikey, never knew that even with the gen units I have!.
I guess it confirms that my Bluesy franken project plan will have to be based on a VSF unit. Just not sure about the dial color though, need to have a good look between the VSF, CF and ARF.
