Mine looks light yellow/gold, I'm not sure why you're seeing dark yellow, it's absolutely not. Are you looking at it next to a warm lamp lol?

Check this picture, it looks really brassy, but i like the watch, just saying that color is not nice
but the head of the watch i have to say the brass color are not noticable, because it finished so nicely

I just received my new CF with rubber strap (this one: https://trustytimewatch88.io/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_6&products_id=25020) and yes, I must also say that the CF strap is quite greynish ...
The Oysterflex from my Noob Daytona is darker.
The CF strap is softer though ...

I have now three different "black" Oysterflex straps:
strap from Noob Factory > smooth dark / black
extra strap piece from RBF (ordered from TrustyTime) > similar dark / black as Noob but different "texture" (not as smooth as NF), looks best actually
strap from Clean Factory > smooth dark grey (at least quite soft)

I wanted to mix the strap pieces for better adjusting the best fitting size, but nothing fits to nothing ... hm, "great" :/

CF oysterflex strap is close to gen. Gen is not dark/shiny black like Noobs. It’s a dull (almost grey-like) black which is what Cleans looks like.

I matched the gold of my 116518 clean with my 116503 gen and it's the same color.
I don't know what some guys are seeing but in my opinion one of the plus of this model is the right gold color.
If you add the stunning case shape, bezel insert, hands, dial and crystal...you have an almost gen watch gold plated instead of full gold.
Enjoy these beauty without being so picky about nothing.
