I think what they're referring to is the refinement of the dust in it. It's a little more like lacquer in gen, and more rough in rep. Cannot notice in real life.

Nikz told me it is impossible to replate once it fades, the pvd coating that is underneath will not work with electro plating.

If u re-plate it and that plating wears off then? Are u able to replate again? Do you know anything about that mate?

Please do! I feel the same, love the limoncello also but as u say the contrast is perfect for me. Im a sucker for gold watches with black dials overall

Personally, I like the black dial in contrast to the yellow gold

I have received mine today, yellow gold with yellow dial
the watch feels great, oysterflex not as soft and silicon feels as gen. but nice overall
gold color is definitely a bit dark yellow, not light tone yellow like the gen, but in some angle it looks light yellow.
crystal and dial is lovely
