Now to decide on between batgirl, pepsi, and rootbeer.
It's all just preference, but I believe for Gen the Pepsi goes for the most over retail, than Batgirl and want to say the root beer you can get for under retail. I myself have a Pepsi and love it.

Now the Pepsi will be a little more flashier on your wrist vs the Batgirl, but either watch is great. For the root beer, you might want to research if the rose gold fades over time since it's a rep

Check your movements. I just got my Clean batman w/ DD3285 and thought "man this rotor is loud". Cracked it open and there's not even a screw holding it in. I'm hoping I can just get the screw and call it a day, doesn't look like anything is sheered from what I can tell. Pretty big oversight no?

Same here. My DD3285 was same. TD sent me a new rotor and skrew for free.
The skrew broke in half at mine.

I changed to a gen skrew.

Is it an easy job? My TD is having me ship it to his watch maker which I appreciate, but it's costing me hundreds just in shipping and additional weeks of time. Would rather have the parts if it's that simple.

Keep us posted on this please. My watch is in for service and to repair a stuck date wheel. My watch guy called after estimate and said the movement is "not really meant to be disassembled" but he's going to work on it anyway. I'm wondering if this is what he found as well.

TD is looking into it. All the videos/pics I can find don't actually show the rotor removal so I'm not positive on how it's supposed to be. Slightly better pic, second one is the rotor and the small piece that was sitting in the center attached to nothing.

So you are saying the rotor was not secured to the movement at all?

The Screw that secures is LOW QUALITY. It breaks apart really fast.
The skrew stays inside, but the ring which holds rotor down busts off.

You can order gen part (ebay) for 20 bucks, its about 10 bucks aliexpress special skrewdriver. There is only 1 skrew

Do you have the link for the Gen screw from Ebay?

if the top is shearing off these screws it’s going to be a major pita to get the screw out in order to replace it. What do you think @KJ2020 ?

I am asking because what i know, it's impossible to get a Gen Rolex oscillating weight axle bolt for 20USD as you said. The cheapest one you can find is 39EUROS
Ok. Then i am wrong and mine was not 20usd. It was used:)

Will do. I overnighted my watch at an exuberant price to the watchmaker requested only to have him not accept the package, so delayed till Monday.

The screw remnant should dissolve out of the autowind bridge in a solution of alum powder and water. As cheap as it is to be shearing this easily it shouldn't take long to dissolve away. Ofc all the other parts should be removed from the bridge first.

There should be some other rotor screws that would be compatible, but it's a real shame a top tier rep has this issue.

Thanks for the explanation. I was really confused on how if it "broke", there wasn't a piece rolling around. I was under the impression it was just never installed.

Damaged in shipping cause of a weak part, not great but more acceptable than the screw was just never installed to begin with.

Happy to see these dd3285 GMTs arriving. Anyone know if that movement is going into a Yachtmaster?
Why would you want a GMT movement in a non GMT watch ?

VS realeased a nice Yacht Master rep both with the VS3235 and VS3135 if you are looking for one with a Dandong movement (and you'd be right to do so) !

Did the same build as on my Pepsi but added a CF 124060 brushed oyster bracelet to tone it down a bit and see how I like it being a bit less blingy. CF V3 GMT Batgirl base, Gen xtal, Clark 2.85 gasket, Xing Batman Bezel, Polished rehaut.

You can refernce my build notes from my Pepsi build as all details are identical: https://forum.replica-watch.info/th...elease-finally.10939641/page-12#post-11306548

As I don't think anyone else has done a Batman Xing insert on RWI it's worth noting the thickness was perfectly flush with the V3 CF Bezel when installed with gs hypo cement and not a 3M ring. The stock CF bezel is slightly recessed if installing with glue. I didn't modify it in any way and it doesn't have the 18 flaws of the Pepsi or anything like that. I would say overall they are nearly identical but the font is slightly larger on the Xing version. I also think the inlay is brighter than on the CF which is why I went for installing it.

Xing Bezel installed in pics (holding CF Bezel w/tweezers fwiw).
