Hi thanks for the answer, so in the photos the 116520 is gen?I think V3 116500 black dial is very close at least to my eyes. I’m comparing a it with my gen dial don’t see a difference in width and i’m assuming the width is always the same regardless of shininess/ceramic or not. I don’t have a photo of my v3 116500 comparing with my gen 116520 here. But the gen 116520 dial is the same as the clean 116519 as shown in the photo and i think it’s the same as the v3 116500 black dial to my eyes.

Clean factory v3 white dial just received it, overall impressions pretty good, it doesn't have a good crystal but i don't mind because i'll put genuine along with a gen dial APH and gen hands.
I'm not sure about the bezel if it's ok or needs to be changed too, any thoughts on that?

the difference is just in the depth of the engraving.. depends on how much it bothere you.. for me it's not worth it
I agree, I opted from not installing a gen bezel,and dial. For me there was nothing much init really to justify it. these are very good oftb imo.

The difference is not only in the numbers but also in the curvature, the replica bezel is flat in its entire part while the gen one has a minimal curvature resulting in the shape of the watch looking different. Also, the low depth of the engraving depending on the lighting makes the fonts not look as clear as they should.

For me the curvature is a tell even from social distance. Can’t see the fonts but if you are sitting in front of me i’ll be able to tell the bezel is flat

The fonts may vary. Some have slimmer and printed numbers on the bezel, some have bolder and engraved numbers. But none of the variations had a flat surface like the clean ones.

sorry i didn’t quite get it. Are you suggesting all the dial versions from clean are bad? and v1 and v2 steel bezels are good?
Dials on v3 (or new ones ) are great, I see no issue. gen is gen as they say. they are very very close, and imo no need to franken dial at all.

but best of both worlds (CF/BTF) would be BTF for case-set and CF for dial, am I correct?

The v3 dial is better from v1 and v2 but the subdials are still thick and have a bit of a brown color which is wrong, on the plus side they are no longer as shiny as v1.
The bezel is bad on the v3,
v1 i had it was fine with the right font size.
