Worth the mention -- gen gaskets didn't work on my CF GMTs for this reason, I had to re-use the CF gaskets.

If a gen retaining ring doesn't correct this issue, shaving the thickness on the gen gasket would. Then the height issue can be addressed. This limits us a lot in achieving a gen-like outcome which is where the compromises come into play.

I have 2 VR 3185 inside my frankens and they work perfect;-)

Correct! only the BLRO has a bezel lip. The LN and the BLNR share the same bezel.

Can we get some close up shots of this V2? How’s the insert colour transitions at 6 and 18?
And speed bumps?

I’m talking in gen, Yeah I’m sure I’ve owned all 3 Ive also removed all the bezels and inserts to get the dimensions for machining custom insert removal dies

Thanks for clarifying KJ, I totally read that post wrong.. thought GiRA was saying they are the same in that neither had a lip.

I have seen many CF and other models having the lip model on batman and batgirl it is wrong then lol

Yeah I think when CF updated the bezel with a lip the factory used some of these for the batgirl either by mistake or they just ran out of the no lip bezel and used whatever they had at the time,
I got the wrong case reference engravings on a few of my CF subs and GMT’s also

if you can't don't worry about it!

I wear a GMF with the ICHS and the insert with the wrong "1" serif most days.
Can I tell? Yes. Noone else can.
Got "called out" the other day by an owner. A vet who bought three back in the day. "Hey is that a Rolex?" he said. "Yeh all the way from China" I answered. Proceeded to tell him about ICHSs, inserts, 1 serifs etc.
all over his head.
We here are watch nerds OCD-ing about bezel lips and long hands and coronets and crown guards.

Crystal is slightly high but cyclops mag seemed pretty good so I left it.
