I'm happy Gen is Gen but it is a quite nice watch. Speedbumps not visible, you need to have a very close look.

Sure. Now I'm on my way to Croatia, will be back in two weeks and will do a review with more pictures.

As you said, the color depends on the lighting. When i opened the package my first thought was the blue is too light. But as you see in the picture inside with low light there is almost no difference. Didn't had the chance to compare in natural light.

Same with crystal. I ordered a gen crystal for the Batman or Pepsi. Inside the crystal seems not to bad, but in natural light there is a huge difference to gen. Not a dealbreaker, but worth an upgrade.

I bought the arf v2 batman 3186 and after 5 months the hour hand isnt jumping anymore. Are these better reliability wise?

I had a dodgy GMF V3 last summer that did exactly the same. I believe the current version have rectified that problem.

From what I understand it was a know fault with the actual movement. Pretty sure they nicknamed it Timebomb or something similar. I couldn’t get a definite UK repair cost as the jeweller recommended replacing the entire movement, if he could at all source one. Sadly I gave up on mine and it went the journey…

Yeah from what I found is that it is just the hour hand spring. Not the entire movement. But I am not a watchsmith and to take it apart scares me lol. I may just sell it as is, or see what cost to fix is.

There are plenty of lads out there who would take it for spares or repair. We are very short of rep watchmakers here in the UK to do this sort of thing.

I had a similar issue with the movement. It’s easier to drop a new VR3185 in. It’s not too hard to do after watching some you tube videos and the tools are cheap. The movements you can get here for around $160.

replacing the crystal with a gen or even with a prof ... An excellent Batman. spectacular. I really hope that mine comes out so from sth.

I'm pretty sure no one has it worse than I do: it's going on 9 weeks since I placed an order. No updates. My TD just said "CF hasn't Clean has not released it yet. They say they have been delayed by parts factory."
