from where did you guys distinguish clean daytonas from gen when it comes to the ceramic ones? I am rather new to Rolex stuff.
What I’m curious about is if the noob bracelet would fit.
Of course there is no reason to that on a CF as it comes with an ARF Bracelet but I remember the ARF SEL having some space between the Lugs when mounted on a Noob case.
so if the ARF Sel sits bombproof between The lugs of the CF it means the case is different to Noob in terms of lug with
ARF bracelet fits perfectly in latest Noob watches(I have it), but the same bracelet has no recession on CF case, so the CF has too short lugs compared to Noob.
Yes, I agree. My conversation with Mark1937 was in regards to the 116500. I cannot comment on the CF 116520 bc I do not own one yet.
That being said, I still believe that when looking at the CF 116520 from a holistic perspective it is still the best release available and significantly better than the Noob equivalent. The dial is a bit of a let down but the CF steel bezel insert is fantastic (not worth frankening that part imo, it’s that good), you’re getting an ARF quality bracelet, and a clone movement. In the near future I plan on purchasing a Gen 116520 black dial (or waiting to see if IPK has a good one that can be sourced via a TD) and inserting it into the CF 116520 and calling it a day. But that’s just my opinion, I’m not as eagle eyed in regards to my reps as some forum members are.

I rec’d my Clean 116500 yesterday, and took a couple of quick shots of it earlier this afternoon. Have not really sat down and compared to my Noob v3, but overall the CF has a feel to it that differs from the Noob that can't really be quantified from pics alone.
I think CF did a pretty good job on the case, and they did a fantastic job on the dial. All in all, I think it's a great step forward in the next chapter of the Daytona story that picks up right where Noob left off.

TDs should hire skilled photographers like you to promote their stuff. Amazing.
Look at the i50 on the CF 116520 bezel though...
Not a photographer just sharing my experience.
We always nitpicking on small things but in our hands it’s a different story hahaha
No more complaining they did astonishing job and trust me the finish on the dial and case is spot on
(All you need is crown&tube, crown on dial and mov-service) and you will enjoy this watch every single day

Very very nice Sir, a stunner.
& for you to praise it definitely means alot
Every picture I see recently makes the decision harder.
Am currently undecided between a CF panda 116500 (even though have an ARF and never actually use the chrono) or a panda 116520 (with the issue on the sub dials discussed to death on the other thread)
But I digress, so enjoy this beauty
finally your friend, enjoy it! it is lethal
