If I had been the Clean factory boss, I would have given the same answer, at least until I had sold all the Daytonas with the fat subdials.

reptime or rwi is not a big business for clean, most of the watches are sold elsewhere,
i dont think anyone can contact "clean factory boss" all we hear is rumours, nobody knows whos behind the factory (except the employee).

keep in mind, producing rep watches isnt a legal job.....

I would think that the current batch of fat subdial dials will be gone fairly shortly. The white and black dials must be made somewhere separate otherwise it would surely be a case of being able to use the same printing plates and machine tooling to make it all correct.

Looking at this post, among the dials in the photo, it seems to me there are also the black and white ones of the Daytona 116520. According to what JTime says, is Clean Factory preparing to replicate these too?
They could correct the fat subdials

Well what does he have to gain by promoting one or the other? If he's a dealer and has an in with BTF then it would make sense. As many of the replies show, both factories have their pros & cons. It's really up to the buyer to decide which cons he/she can live with.
