Clean 126500 Daytona review

My first post here. Hello! I noticed, that the numbers on the Clean bezel are slightly off a little bit. There is less space to the outer part compared to the GEN one. Any idea if there will be a kind of "spare" part in the future, so I can change it to the more Gen like? ;-)

Hello, welcome. Factories do make slight improvements with newer batches. hopefully Clean will update the bezel numeral spacing soon, Its possible that may also sell the ceramic insert separately, as they do for their Sub and GMT bezels. But there no guarantee they will update it or sell it separately.

What I can tell you is in person, it is not something you would notice as the difference is very tiny. Don’t let it discourage you from enjoying one of the great releases. Enjoy.

Got a black Clean126500, I am very happy overall with the watch. 2 parts really bothered me, the over chrome looking pushers and the knurling of the crown looks kind of wrong. Hope someone have a fix.

You can see the over shininess of the pusher, Gen is more brushed, dull looking. The machining of the knurling of the crown looks to have too much machining marks.
Apart from that the whole watch is lovely and very enjoyable.

my only complaint is that this one is rough when winding. i got the white which i sold and the winding is perfect on that one. what can it be?

I had 4 clean 126500 daytonas , stable and precise movement but little bit louder rotor and 3 of them had rough winding like the parts grinding inside, weird feel… not the case with dd4131, have 2 of them

hi can somebody help me if clean submariner winding crown will fit in our 126500 clean daytona? Is the crown same size as daytona crown? my crown got damage thinking of replacing it..tried to order it but its taking too long, Thanks mate!

Any idea why the rotor is louder? Mine is louder, too. The watchsmith thought it is about the wrong oil but after he oiled it, it is still loud.

Being member since 2017 and knowing all main flaws of the most famous watches i can easily say that it's impossible to spot the rep.
Maybe you can have a chance if you have both in your hands and 2/3 minutes of completely calm to compare them.

Yeah, the only and the main issue is the dial color, thats an instant tell, dont know how is in real life tho

Trust me.
In real life you can't tell the difference.
It's only about light conditions.
The level of this rep is near perfection

I had clean daytona but switched to vsf recently and swapped out the crowns, the crystal on the vsf is even much closer to gen and the dial is the same

I been out of the 126 game for a bit, had both black and white CF from the very first batch but regrettably sold almost immediately. Is the consensus now that VSF might be the way to go because of the crystal? Other than the dots on the crown being enormous lmao
