Clean 126500 Daytona review

That sounds wrong in so many ways!
We've beaten the topic of the crystal to death. I think that it's a matter of personal preference but the bottom line is that we can all agree that the stock CF crystal is good enough.
Gen is gen so a gen crystal will always be better. Is it worth it? That's up for you to decide for yourself ultimately. It's like the decision to franken a rep. Some find it pointless. Others won't have it any other way. That's the beauty of this hobby. We can do whatever damn pleases us.
The best watch should always be the one that you think is best.

Agreed! For me I am outside alot in a sunny area so the crystal does make a difference! But I can see if you're in a Scandanavian country with little light how the crystal is less important.That sounds wrong in so many ways!

Also... I was gonna get a black dial but the white dial looks good too.... fuck
I was in the same boat. White dial looks amazing. I reckon it looks better than the black one. But personally, I find the black dial better suited to the new bezel. It's for sure a matter of personal taste but I find the watch to be more harmonious with the black dial.
Also, I have a frankened 116500 panda that I find perfect. That helped a lot in making my mind between the two. Although I have to admit that even with having this in the equation, I was close to getting both on more than one occasion... But I remembered the four 1680s I have ended up getting after convincing myself that each one was different enough to warrant its purchase and how I promised myself not to make the same mistake again...

I think I lean white dial even though I legitimately have 3 white dial Daytonas (DiW, 116500, Panda) because the Le Mans and Black Dial look too similar
You're more sensible with your black dial choices than with the white ones!
The Le Mans is not there yet and who knows what will happen between now and its supposed release. The cardinal rule in the rep game is to get what you want when you can. If and when the Le Mans is released and if it ends up being on par with your expectations, you can always sell the 126500.

When i saw Rolex released this version i was like nah nah.but when i got it on the wrist i was like OH YEAHI could never get behind the 11 series, I had bought a couple but always ended up selling them because I felt they were to small. I decided to pull the trigger on a 12 series Panda because everyone had said it wears a little bigger. And in the end it does but I still wish it was a little bigger
Here are some pictures, I am really happy with it so far. Anyone want to guess the crystal?
. just handsome looking on the wrist especially the ring outside the ceramic just make it extra handsomes

Bottom line, the gen crystal is not $500 better— that’s 2/3 cost or the watch.
In the vid we see different angles where the Clean 12 crystal is close to gen in clarity and reflectivity, both dials..

damm good ... you can see the differences if you know for what you have to look but unlikely with the naked eye on the wrist ... good job done, Clean
