That first photo gives me a ton of confidence. My biggest concern with going to this build is the lugs. Raffles looks to sof. The lugs look pretty good here even on the chamfers.

I know you've done silian builds previously, after doing this one do you prefer this or the Silian case?
No Raffles components are used in this watch.

It is a Bi vintage 14060 case.
The lug chamfer was too large when I received it, so I modified it by machining it a bit.

I previously created a watch that was converted to 14060 using a sillan16610 case.

The 14060 and 16610 are completely different in appearance, rehaut opening, crystal, bezel, etc.

This Bi vintage14060 case is made to GEN specs.
The 14060 GEN dial, 25-286 crystal, and GEN bezel insert fit nicely.

Once this 14060 is completed, the sillan will be reassembled into another watch.

I replaced the glass gasket from 3.2 to 2.7 because I did not like the way the glass gasket was showing through the bezel insert.

The 2.7mm glass gasket seems to be better.

He said Bi vintage on eBay is a friend.
I also bought my 5513 case from Bi vintage on eBay.
His WhatsApp and RWI member Bi vintage WhatsApp numbers are different.

That means there are 3 Bi vintage I know. (LOL)

I have made various contacts and purchases with cases, dials, and other components.

In particular, I have been in contact with K via Facebook messenger for multiple parts.

wonderful build. a grail for me.

bummer that there are multiple places to source parts from to make it. would love for a "fully built" option

Quality 14060 is not available from TD.

There are limited options for dials and cases.

If you really want it, you have to collect and assemble good parts.

Your 14060 is fantastic! Kudos to you! I'm a noob looking to get/build a 5513 or 14060 just like yours for Christmas and have been following your work with the Sillian and AliX cases with the Raffles dial. I wish you could create a short list like in the "5-digit-14060-build" thread to give people an idea of the parts and cost involved in this BiVintage build. Using a Gen dial already tells me - it's rather expensive?

Building a 14060 under 500€ - is that possible with the Bivintage case or one has to go with the Sillian+Raffles dial (and the wrong distance between hands and indices, etc). Have you ever tried putting that 26.7mm dial into a Cartel JKF 5513/1680? Is that 26.7mm dial available as a rep?

I apologize for so many questions and appreciate any help - thank you!

OK I found the case on Ebay - it's $600... oh boy.
"The bezel is not clicking well." "PIP is also not good." - doesn't sound great for $600...
So I guess it's the Sillian-Raffles route for me then. If only those hands had the right distance to the indices...

When assembling 14060
① Raffles or Aliexpress case with Raffles dial, NH38 is inexpensive.
② Raffles dial in a SILLAN case, VR3130
③ GEN dial on Vietnamese case

I have created these 3 patterns.
In case
① the case is not good looking, such as the shape of the case.
②It is also sold individually to Ali Express, but it is getting expensive.
The sillan case is $200 but you have to buy at least 2 cases.
It is not accurate because it is still a diversion of 16610.
③The Bi vintage case and GEN dial alone cost $1200.

Compared to the 14060, the 5513 has many more parts and many more ways to make it.

Finally, I believe the 26.7mm (GEN 14060 size) 14060 dial is only a GEN dial.
GEN dials will not fit in a sillan case or JKF.

It is possible to make a 14060 for that budget but not with any viet pieces. The piece below was sold 400€
