Challenge 14060

I have assembled watches with Raffles 14060 dials in sillan, ARF, etc. cases.

But I wanted something a little better.
Then I heard that you can make a 14060 case, so I placed an order.

I received the case today and assembled it.

The 26.7mm GEN dial fits nicely and I am satisfied.

The first step was to obtain the dials.
14060 tritium dial

For now, I used sillan's 16610LN hands that I had on hand.
Repainted and installed non-luminescent.

The bezel is not clicking well.
I plan to replace the click spring.

PIP is also not good.
I have a PIP for 16610 that I bought at Ali Express and will replace it when I have time.

This watch is not yet finished.
We will update it over time.

After all, 14060 is different.

It was completely different from 16610.

Really? Care to share his contact info? May be the same guy who knows. I spoke with the member here, and bought from his eBay store, and have his WhatsApp number. Could compare the two.

Doesn’t matter much to me either way. If the price is right and they’ve got the case I’m looking for, that’s about all I need to know.

Interesting comments on BV... I have communicated with him here, WhatsApp and ebay... but someone else gave me a different Viet phone number for WhatsApp, the other day, when I was looking for a case, and said it was BV. They did appear to have the same case(s). That seller had previously sold cases to a member here and their chat made reference to BV. Due to language barrier, I did wonder if this guy was the guy who supplied BV i.e. he is the maker/source!?

He said Bi vintage on eBay is a friend.
I also bought my 5513 case from Bi vintage on eBay.
His WhatsApp and RWI member Bi vintage WhatsApp numbers are different.

That means there are 3 Bi vintage I know. (LOL)

Have a look at "Fiery Gems" on ebay - GEN 16610LN inserts seem to be going as low as $20 at the moment, in auction. Market is in the toilet for GEN parts... for now... get hoovering!
