Wise remains the go-to
I don't suppose you would know if/how they handle disputes? My major concern is with the recent raids, a vendor being raided and not being able to follow through on the watch. There's nothing better for that than a chargeback on CC (Which I have NEVER done for anything, and I love and respect my watch vendor, it's just nice having the peace of mind).
Or you can use Wise to generate a one-use card number.I never have thought of the genius idea of using a pre-paid Visa or MasterCard gift card before. I only have a couple of TDs that I trust because they allow me to use PayPal Family & Friends. Now I can actually branch out to using other TDs with this new method of payment that I just discovered! Thanks!
A one use card number? Hmm I'll have to look into that! I have never used it before but keep seeing it pop up on this forum often.Or you can use Wise to generate a one-use card number.
Wise and Revolut have that, single-use credit card number. I use this to buy anything from shops I am not familiar with.A one use card number? Hmm I'll have to look into that! I have never used it before but keep seeing it pop up on this forum often.
Good to know! But wHat kind of discounts do we get with wise?Wise is clearly a good option moreover we have discounts ^^
50% if you use wise and the special handshake.Good to know! But wHat kind of discounts do we get with wise?
Open an account at Revolut, they have single-use debit card, no one can use it a second time.I will say that after getting my card hacked after shopping with a certain TD I am leary of using him now even with a virtual card. Too bad because there are at least two more items I want. Maybe card processors need to be made more secure. I don't know
Nothing to do with the TD mate, it's the dodgy processors who suck.I will say that after getting my card hacked after shopping with a certain TD I am leary of using him now even with a virtual card. Yep, that’s probably what happened. Only a few months before when I purchased another watch all was fine and then the issue happened. Gotta laugh if they claim their processor is secure and gotta use the payment methods others have outlined above/\ /\ /\ Exactly this
The only thing I would add is unless I knew for a fact that the TD had changed his processing company I too would be reticent
