Can the newly released XF V2 FC Diver 15706 be considered a super rep?

How noticeable is this in real life?

Here is the ghost outline around the tachy numerals on gen (Look at the crisp outline around the “4”). I am using the SS Diver for illustration purposes but same applies to the F.C. Diver.

This outline is missing on any rep. Gen tachy numerals “pop” more as a result of this outline and look more 3D.

I think the non crisp rep tachy lume is Easy to see in good lighting. Once you see it, you can’t un see it.

And is it just me, or does the lume appear to be wider on the rep minutehand?

Some people have relumed that tachy but a hand painted tachy is never going to look crisp like gen IMO. Of course nobody else is going to notice your non gen spec tachy lume but we will see it ourselves.

Can XFv2 owners please confirm whether it is worth re-polishing the case to make it more matte (was told that it's a common problem with rep FC cases)? ie is it matte enough? FastPaced ?

Some there seems to be a lot if confusion about how shiny or matte the case should be. From pictures I see of the Gen, the case is not matte, it is more a satin shine. But I have owned the JF, HF and now the XF. In my opinion based off the pictures I have seen of the Gen, the XF has the same satin shine as the Gen. I believe my JF and HF were to matte (dull) compared to the Gen. But maybe someone way more qualified than me like Slaughterer62 can comment on this.

I got this watch myself and it is stunning. I believe the only weakness is the caseback as the caseback is not as well made as JF's or HF's, but it can be easily modded without paying too much. The casebacks from JF and HF can both be easily sourced in the market.

All other aspects are truly satisfactory. Colors are correct and the swirls that you debated over could not be seen not to mention clearly counted without a loop.

XF really paid attention to the details and the watch as a whole looks amazing.

I am no expert but the many images I have seen online, the XF case is just like the gen.

Do you think the datewheel mod is necessary on the XF? I think it looks better than JF but as I said, i'm no expert.

I have both the JF and XF FC diver. Which parts from each watch should I use to make the best diver? The most obvious is to take the case back from the JF and add to the XF? That’s about all I can see... any one with other recommendations?

Just picked up mine today with a Swiss 2836. Its an absolute beauty. The double ar crystal blows my mind. It looks like it's not there 90% of the time

I am using a H fac dial with everything else XF for the build. For the ghost lime on the lume of the tachy it is really hard to unsee after seeing it.
