Can the newly released XF V2 FC Diver 15706 be considered a super rep?

This picture is from the photo review thread of the XF V2. I'm not sure which swirls to count, but I haven't counted more than 13.

I mean I really don't have time to debate over swirls but even the pic you posted shows that there are more than 13 swirls on the squares located closest to the centre of the hands. The best way to do it is in hand under a microscope so a camera flash does not distort anything.

The machine swirls on the gen start from the base of the square not at the top. In other words start counting from the corner of the square to the top and then the other corner. That is exactly how they are counted on the gen. guys on gen forums use to fuss over this a lot when the close back 15703 came out with these swirls. AP got rid of it for the open back 15710 version.

Slaughterer62 has posted pictures if the gen dial vs JF dial comparison, it is easy to count the swirls on both. I have also bought multiple XF dials, JF dials and Noob v3.5 dials, and the XF has 1 or 2 more lines than the JF. So count them how you want to, but Slaughterer62 pictures tell all. I am not here to debate it with you. Anyone interested in seeing for themselves can just search for Slaughterer62's comparison post.
The swirls definitely contribute to the texture look of the dials. The gen dial looks smoother because the swirls are closer together.

I am not quite following the debate over swirls, but after reading your posts I did count the white lines on the exact square closest to the center of the dial in the XF FC Diver Dial picture posted above. there are 18 white lines.

I could be wrong though. Kindly enlighten me what/ where/ how to count and how much swirls are there. Thanks.

For $400 this rep is a no brainier if you are into APs

Considering the 600+ for any ROOs this is the nail on the coffin for the debate..

Still the tachy imho is the biggest tell

XF v2 tachy for this Diver is almost same as noob which is the correct bold size. Only diff is the dial not that good swirls and the cyclop. That’s all. Still a good to go watch. Ohya the rubber strap is a crap compare to Jf. Haha

Tachy numerals on gen have a crisp outline, I can’t see that on the rep

WTB PAM 243M HFv3 or Noob v2

Yes understand. But stills the best between JF and old XF V1. At least they try their best to make it Gen on tachy instead of dial. Haha

But at least better than u get roo and do all the silly mod tachy trim Hand mod. But in the end Case is thick like a toast bread. Haha no diff when this Diver tachy is hard to tell on the wrist than the Toast Box on the wrist. Lol

Remember Good and SuperRep are two different things. This rep is great, but lately everyone wants to throw the word SuperRep at any rep that is good or better than the previous models.

Now go count them on the Gen, there are pictures of the Gen dial on the forum.

Do you mean that the numerals on the rep are too bold? I'm not quite sure what to look for here.

How noticeable is this in real life?
To be fair, I think the pattern is more noticable.

And is it just me, or does the lume appear to be wider on the rep minutehand?
