Just got my 382 in. This is a beauty in person. Yes, there are some flaws (I'm actually sending mine off in a few minutes to a member for bezel/dial realignment and some CG modification) but overall I am so impressed with everything about it.....except this dog sh*t rep strap. I kept reading that they were bad but holy hell I didn't believe it could be this bad. Its like styrofoam/plastic and hay were compacted into this crap strap. Mine is gonna sit on a rep Noob 372 strap for now until my milspec green canvas strap comes in....hopefully around the same time my watch is done with its modifications.
And to those judging its color by the pictures posted, keep in mind the pics do not do it justice. I was surprised by the amount of reddish tint that was present in the bronze case. And the already present patina.
I'll post pics once I get it back.

Congrats Man mine will be here tomorrow. I preempted the sh*tty rep strap by practically begging BMW to sell me one of his. Luckily I should only have to rock the crap strap for a day maximum. Thanks again Beemer!
Awesome. You're gonna enjoy it. I was on the fence about the ZF but after seeing all the pics I realized I couldn't wait any more. And while I was waiting on the unicorn that is the KW382, it is a rep and will still have flaws. And if I can get the few flaws that weren't really THAT big of a deal fixed, why wait. Why not start wearing, enjoying, and building patina now.
Every rep has flaws. So we either deal with them or mod. I also have never bought a PAM where I used the rep strap. So in the trash they go.

Think it would be helpful if we made a list of straps and were we got them, Whether I hold out for the KW which really has no proof of improvement or I order a ZF , the bottom line is I will need a new strap. What's the strap size on these lug to lug
Its a 47mm PAM so it'll be 26mm.

hahaha when i got the strap i was thinking that 2.. im like WTF is this material...its like my fingers had too much static.. and it made my fingers itchy
it was interesting strap to get with a rep i must admit haha..

All great high end straps. I ordered a couple recently from Dan (Migliorestraps) and BradJ. It's good to have a decent selection.
All 47mm Pams have 26mm straps. As a rule I always have a strap ready before purchasing a new watch. No one wants a rep strap on their wrist.

Gunny also has a nice selection of straps. He even has maybe 3-5 straps he designed specificity for the bronzo. Never had one but I hear they are nice.

Love that strap! I was debating going with the Mustang Canvas for the bronzo. decided to go with the Heroic18 canvas just cuz it was a company I'd heard of before. Once that comes in all I'll need is a vintage ammo strap for it and I'll be good to go. For now...

@pitpat That's the best patina I've seen so far, how did you achieve it? I am still on the edge if I should buy one or not, I must say, i'm not a big fan of the greenish, dirty looking patina most of them seem to get.
