Building a movement ring
As ward1991 has already written, there is a movement ring from helenarou that makes it possible to mount an eta movement in a rolex case. It looks great and makes total sense. But since I didn't order an adapter ring and want to get further in the project, I built it myself. Luckily I have my lathe. By the way: the lathe is a lot of fun.

It looks very similar to the helenarou and does the job.
Hi, would you mind sharing dimensions of the movement ring? Looking to make my own

Caseback engraving
There is a nice discussion at the Engraving Thread about the caseback engraving. So that motivates me to do the open task of flatten the caseback and add the tudor typical engraving. Rolex used a curved caseback at the Submariner case, but Tudor is using a flat caseback. So the milk case came with the curved version and doesn't fit correct.

Flatten caseback
My initial idea was just using the lathe to remove material from the back. This started well but after a some 0,1mm the caseback gets too thin, and the cutting transform the material instead of removing. So I changed the process by flatten the caseback using a file. That is a time-consuming progress but ended nearly great. The caseback is now about 0,5 to 0,6 mm thin. So you are able to bend the caseback with your thumps. This is not the perfect way to flatten it.

Engraving
I used the saltwater etching method with a 9V battery. I described the process here at the Engraving Thread. The stencil for the engraving has a special font I can't find, so I have to rebuild it as a vector file.
