Can we except a dozen of CF126500 available on M2MThis looks like the real deal — this is the Dandong DD4131 that we’ve been waiting for. The balance bridge appears to have a real paraflex shock setting not a decoration plate like the SH4131. I suspect we’ll also see escape wheel shock settings on this dd4131 (but it’s not possible to see that in these pictures). And it looks like the DD4131 is getting the full ball bearing block like the gen and SH versions.
I would very much like to see a part by part comparison of this movement with the SH4131 used in the CF 12-series Daytonas. Perhaps @CTime could furnish us with such a comparison.
Until we see a teardown of the dd4131 the jury is out. I’ve serviced an SH4131 and honestly it’s not a bad movement (other than the annoying decoration plate on the balance bridge that’s secured from the bottom). Time will tell if there are metallurgical issues with any of the parts (eg the weak setting levers we saw in early SH3285 movements). But barring the DD4131 being unexpectedly weak / poorly designed somewhere, I think it’s likely that there won’t be a clear winner between the two movements. Can we except a dozen of CF126500 available on M2M
Is that why the rotor sounds so loud? The declaration plate?Until we see a teardown of the dd4131 the jury is out. You better pray Nicholas Cage doesn't show up and take that declaration plate from you.Is that why the rotor sounds so loud? The declaration plate?
No the decoration plate is on the balance bridge. If you click the link in my original post, you'll see some macro shots of what I'm talking about and why it makes it inconvenient to service the balance bridge shock setting. Is that why the rotor sounds so loud? The declaration plate?

CheaperCurious on what pricing will be like, same as clean? I have the panda from clean and I can’t fault it in any way.
Might order the black one from btf.
I was looking at the vsf one but didn’t like the movement
Excuse the question, but is the VSF movement unreliable?Curious on what pricing will be like, same as clean? I have the panda from clean and I can’t fault it in any way.

The movement is reliable . I haven’t seen anyone report issues with the 4800 movementsExcuse the question, but is the VSF movement unreliable?
Is it crap? Tnx.
I also can't see shit without putting them side to side. If they're that similar it would be just about the movement and priceMaybe eagle eyed members can chime in but literally it looks the fucking same as Clean.
WHY ARE YOU YELLING?WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO DO A C vs VSF vs AR+ vs GEN?!?!!?
