I have two Cleans (Panda and black dial). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the movement. Winds nicely and works as it should.

Is the DD4131 potentially a better movement? From experience and from the pictures, I’d say probably. Is it a reason to steer clear from CF just for that? Absolutely not. It’s a great rep. Probably the best I’ve handled so far.

Personally, I wouldn’t consider anything else if I were shopping for a Panda today. However, I’d probably go for BTF over CF on the black dial.

Just that lot of people are saying about clean <> BT,

How is black dial of VSF compared to BT? Which do you think has a better dial? (it seems each has some missing point)

Started first with ZF (terrible release), second by CF, then VSF(SBF), followed by BTF, and now we will have APSF 126500 Daytonas!

It’s getting really competitive!

Hopefully Steve can do full comparison with gen!

youre lucky. my clean panda is crunch AF. I had it serviced and its still a little crunchy. The rotor was super loud also so I had to do a DIY rotor lubing with thicker than advised lube (1300hp/9104) instead of the standard 9010.

All ?

Reps said VS indices was longer

Kinda lost now...
Do not bother, i have had first batch of cleans which was more flat and have both white and black now with softer markers ,they look different on magnification but in real life very hard to see, so all those minor differences are normal as they are hand polished, anwyays , they are all the same more or less..good and fine now..

They all using the same indices , clean, btf and vsf
Clean used more flat ones only in the first batch
I'm talking about the straightness of their alignment. Not the dimensions.

The straightness of their alignment are determined by

1. How centered are the pins behind the indicies

And

2. How centered are the pin holes on the dial for said indices.

Im genuinely curious. If you guys arent checking for indicies alignment, then what are you guys looking at during QC?

Indicies alignment is the only thing that needs to be QC'd. Eveything else literally never changes. Like you guys said, they always use the same indicies, the movement. The movement is mass produced and probably is not going to vary much, the bezel is fixable even once you get it (only a Daytona atleast).

You already know how the dial and bezel looks before you order it and you cant change factories so it cant be that.

You guys really never check for alignment?
