alright so i bought this V1 (so wrong alloy - bronze color) very cheap just to see if I would have liked it and I do indeed. It came with a slight patina so I gave it a good rub with microfiber cloth and 100% natural lemon juice (i personally squeezed them lol)
and these were the result. i was impressed by the cleanliness after max 10mins rub

then I hard boiled couple of eggs and put first one in a sealed bag with the watch, crushed it and let it "work" for exactly 1 hour

After 1 hour there was some patina on the watch but: 1. It was quite faint, not much 2. It was only on the side "facing" the egg

At this point, I reckoned one should change position of the watch constantly at maybe 15min interval to give an even job all around, but couldn't be the case for me; so what I did is i threw in another egg into the plastic bag, turned the watch the other side and left it overnight

morning after what I found is this

I think I'll go back to clean status again and let humidity and equatorial weather do its job

As I remember you mention in earlier post that you will wax you Bronzo with extra amount of wax

Did this works with you to prevent patina or slow it down from developing on the watch

TBH mate I've not done much with my bronzo,
I've just had a procedure done on my neck following a disc removal two years ago,
So I'm parked up at the moment feeling sorry for myself & my watches have been put on the back burner for the time been,

Bad news that mate I've had back trouble since I was about 28. Get sciatica now and again so I know how excruciating the pain is. Good luck with your recovery buddy!

Thanks man. The 15 marker is slightly off but I can fix that no problem. Cheers. Full pics on Patina will commence soon.

Curious how do you straighten them? My watch that's coming has two of them ever so slightly off.

Personally, I'll let them be. One thing we love about bronze is that it's a very forgiving material. Slight imperfections, like we see even on gens, give the watch some character and, in a sense, its own uniqueness. [emoji6]

Ok, let's get this out of the way: I've got a serious bronze jonze. Here's a picture of my current collection (one more preordered for delivery later in the year.)

Do you think I really need a Pam 671 or would that just be just be more of the same, a la Pam 382? Convince me!

I have twice more PAMs than you have Bronze watches. And they are more similar than your Bronze collection. There. Convinced? :lmao:

Nice collection buddy! The only brand that can't be missed if you'r into bronzo is an Anonimo: they have been the leader in this material since bronzo got picked up by other brands. Get your self an 'old' original Anonimo Firenze > these are beautiful but hard to get.

Beautiful collection ..if I had the means I'd have more than my 382 ... especially the Chimera and Ancon.
How has the U Boat patina come along ? I'd love to see a few more pics of it here even if this is not the right forum.
Have you had it water tested and been swimming with it ?

An unassailable point, you make. I will take it under advisement. [emoji1]

Thanks. To my eternal regret, I passed up many opportunities to buy a legacy Anonimo bronze watch back when it was still a boutique brand. Still scouring WUS for one. [emoji20]

Thanks. I don't swim with any of my watches, so they all still have the factories' WR ratings, which, of course, I take with a grain of salt. And like the rest of my watches, these don't really get a lot of time on the wrist. But even then, the "au naturel" patina is coming on slowly but nicely.

I have several Anonimo watches and 2 of them are bronze. From all bronzo watches they made I think the San Marco and the Polluce Magnum are the most nice. I have the latter:

If you can find one: try to buy it. Its really beautiful made.

image.jpeg VSF 382 arrived today and I'm in love. Seems to be more rose gold than bronze which I love even more when compared to the buckle. I'll see if ketchup will help make it more bronze, if not I guess I'll try and use rose/copper paint on the buckle. The bezel needs popped off too and realigned. iPhone photos suck so I'll use the dslr when my Gunny strap arrives Wednesday.

Ketchup will make it looks more rose gold while lemon juice will make more yellow gold

My past 382 was rose gold tiny after a ketchup bath. This will go away over time when you wear it. It will Patina and vanish. Enjoy.
