Sorry, I just remembered you asked for pictures of the U Boat Chimera. Please excuse the lints - I took the pictures in a hurry. Here you go:

Thank you . That's a beautiful model ...unfortunately I bought the Carbon Fibre one about 20 mins before they released the Bronzo but it is on my short list.
The watch will look even more amazing if it develops a heavy patina ... have you thought of burying it under a pig-pen for a few months .. ;)

Make sure you guys check the polished bezel edge in your quality control photos. My bezel is polished but not all the way around. Looks like they over brushed too far on one side. See how the polished edge from 12 to 3 is polished then the gap gets smaller 3 to 8. Only defect I see that I missed. Oh well! Still a fun watch.

Thanks for the tip. Could you rotate the bezel so that the entire polished area of the 0-15 minute markers can be seen?

Can this be fixed? OR am i better off selling it and ordering a new one?

Thanks for the reply, does vsf has issues that other makers have such as crooked 15 marker or thin crown, etc?

For the markers I think it's always good to check them in QC pics, and the crown is fat now

Had to wait about 6 weeks for that little treasure to arrive from strapfreak.
Well worth the wait for the gunny brown canvas though wouldn't t you say.

Yes, the design elements and finishing of the Chimera bronze, potentially, do lend themselves very well to great patination and I'm tempted to speed it up a bit.

you can't be that weak, can you..of all the people..

I can be, and I am that weak! Have I not proved it many times already?[emoji12] However, the 671 is only just on my wishlist; it's not yet close to the top. But we know how easily these watches can leapfrog on the list!

I think @SuperLory has not seen your vertical watchboxes yet. Care to post a pic of the SOTC? :D
