Sorry, I know it's not a Pam, but it's a bronze, and amazing watch. This arrived yesterday and after a good ketchup bath it looks like new!
Interesting thing is that ketchup didn't let a pink rose gold tone as it did with my 671.
This is my 4th bronze watch, they are very addictive

The gen is aluminum bronze as opposed to CuSn8 like the PAM bronzo. Not sure if the rep is also aluminum bronze but it would explain your results of the ketchup bath.

Yes, I was reading it now and rep also is aluminum bronze, and that, as you said, explain it.

This is the clean case of my 671,
Like I stated in my previous post,I think the darker blue face suits a lighter,cleaner case.....this is only my opinion & opinions are like arseholes.....everybody has one [emoji2]

My 671 against my Steinhart bronzo. If you consider that my Steinhart is Swiss made and has a genuine eta 2824-2 elabore in it and has a true 300m depth rating for £390 it's probably the best watch in the world for the money. But it's nice to have loads of reps too. [emoji6]

You can also buy model paint in black from any toy model store. A small small brush and gently apply then use your fingers to wipe excess away leaving behind a perfect fill of black in the second marker on the bezel. I did my old 571 before the movement died on me. But I sold the bezel with my replacement 571. Looked great and good as new

XF version 2. The strap I worn it in a little manipulating with my hand bending it in every direction. Then sanded slightly with fine steelwool/wire wool. And finally gave it a couple of coats of clear wax.

Cheers Sparky, we do like to keep trying these little experiments don't we with our bronzo's. yes I'll probably give it a couple of more coats and some more buffing n see how we go. Ppl keep saying these rep straps are crap
But if you just wear them in properly and experiment with them you can get them looking as good as custom made ones with some of them. My gunny canvas is due to ship this week from strapfreak. 6 weeks I've been waiting for this baby!

Aye I remember you mentioning about your gunny,that's come round quick mind.....but I bet it hasn't felt like that for you bro.
You doing that to your strap is the tradesman in you.With the right skills/tools ordinary/bland stuff can be made to look special

Yep it has, I've only emailed them once about the strap lol.[emoji23]Next project is a Rolex big crown 6538(James bond) vintage/slightly aged style watch. Got virtually all the parts now, just waiting for silix to get the case set in!
