Yeah, I'm sure they must have forced you to enter the store....

Look, I don't see this discussion going anywhere, so I'm just going to stop here.

To end the debate: this is against the forum rules. IIRC people have been banned before for doing the same kind of thing. Just so you know.

game over.

you just can´t understand. it´s winter over here and my watch was under my pullover, maybe blinged a little bit out. You seem to understand the whole situation different, maybe you want to. Maybe you just don´t like me, you showed this already in your replies to a technical question I posted some weeks ago. This was disrespectful, not to answer with technical advice, which you were able to give, but to answer in a way, to discourage me. So I think you can´t be objective here.

And I don´t want to discuss where I go and if this is respectful, I´m man enough to decide on my own.

-----------------------

Keep your opinion, but don´t destroy the whole point of this thread, which is, to remind, the dimishing quality and rising prices of breitling.

back to topic please.

Wiz makes great points, but I think you just made an honest mistake. I have that GMT Gummy strap , and I will have to kindly disagree with you on it feeling cheap. I think it feels very nice and is extremely comfortable to wear.

it wasn´t the gmt gummy alone, maybe it was just a little tweaked from being pressed in the stand. please read the whole post, there was lots of little quality problems. It´s not that I want to bash breitling, I really love breitling, but this is what grabbed my attention. just want to know if other people made the same experience latley or if this was just unlucky.

Just keep in mind that the reps today are very good in quality. Not like they were ten years ago. A lot of the differences are not visual to the naked eye. The craftsmanship, movements etc. I too have been to AD's and walked out wondering why I ever spent a dime there. It happens to all of us at some point.

this is what i mean. I also went to hublot afterwards, and the quality was much better, no sharp edges, perfectly aligned and great presentation.

maybe we need to get used to hublot prices to satisfy our quality expectations. but in relation to the quality reps, + lots of marketing and design, i think gen prices would be more realistic with 50% discount.

lol, I had no idea you were the same guy. It all makes sense now. :)

You just forgot to say you started multiple threads to got your question answered, and that despite that you had your answer. But now you're mad because the answer turned out now being what you imagined, since your first assuption was wrong.

I don't have much time to loose with you, you're a lost cause, so I'm going to use that wonderfull forum feature that is called "ignore list".

I don´t understand where WIZ has his good reputation from. He tried to get a conflict rolling here and lies big time in his final words.

Respect my friend !

no offense to the industry

Don't worry the industry is not offended except for the excellent copies that are produced of their products

To your original point I have to say I agree with you on the Abyss..I tried one on at an AD and was not impressed and have been quite happy with the rep.

Tread carefully as Rep fora can at times be a mine field.

I did that a couple of times too. But definitely not to brag to them or trying to fool them that mine's a Gen. However i will not wear the Pam rep into Pam boutique... probably into a Brietling AD. Wouldnt want to be a laughing stock. But i too see no wrong in wearing a rep in AD unless your intention is to try to fool the sales assistant. Lol.

I think I know where Lud is coming from and where WIZ is standing. But I, too, will not wear a rep into the AD. To me it just doesn't feel right. Even the gen products are not worth their asking prices or if the quality is somewhere up in the air, I will accept that and will not complain knowing that I own a rep, the illegal item which costs less than 10 x the original price and have chipped away their profit in some way. If you run your own business you would understand what Im trying to say here. If I had a rep on my wrist, I would take it off before entering the boutique. Just to show a little respect.

Exactly! It's just plain rude and disrespectful. If for no other reason this should be reason enough. It's like parking a kit car Lambo on a Lamborghini dealer's forecourt, rude and arrogant. Thank you straycat, Asian manners were always better than most western ones. You guys still understand the importance of respect.

Also, waving the quality of today's reps under the noses of ADs encourages them to lobby the makers to "do something about these fakes".

If someone copies your stuff, this is before monetary interests, a nice respectful behaviour. But this was never the topic here. But as some of you just don´t want to understand, I won´t post in this topic anymore.

and btw, aren´t the asians the "fake and replica producers of the world" ?

Your statement about asians and western population to me, sounds absolutly intollerant and racialistic. sorry.

For starters, try spell check, it's free. Asians has a capital A as well. Oh, Asian is not a race either mate, it's a region.

Fact: Asia has manners in a way that has vanished from the west, generally far more polite a people and respect is a very important part of most of the cultures there. Who exactly am I being racist towards?

Stop digging your own grave. if you want to stay as a member here, i would refrain from getting into sarcastic verbal altercations with admins.

So far you have now insulted Wiz and Boss, two people that are very respected here. Clearly people are not agreeing with certain things you are saying. Learn to live with other peoples opinions and just drop it before you are the one who winds up being dropped. Just some friendly advice

Unable to answer my question I see. Still not sure who I racially insulted.

If you don't like it here there is always Zeitgeist, why don't you try over there?
