How does the crown feel? I know the GF Ti Blackbird 44 had issues with the crown tube stripping

No problems with my crown. Entire watch is steel and the crowns threads engage the tube very securely. I feel much more comfortable with this one than my old blackbird.

Enjoying my new avenger gmt, finally in black pvd finish. It is very comfortable to use, it looks bigger in photos than in reality.

Now this looks sharp, I like it better than the original Blackbird!
Is this a titanium or an SS watch?

It's titanium.
Seems less dark when the light reflects.
It's a nice finish.

That one is Titanium DLC coated

Are you guys sure it is Titanium? Gen is stainless and I can't imagine they would create a custom case mold just for a titanium version. Especially since it's not the same case as the blackbird, so they can't reuse it.

Could you weigh your watch without the strap and report on its weight? If it's less than 80 grams, it should be titanium. Heavier and it's probably stainless.

Go for all 4 :woo:

I like my blue so much I'm grabbing the DLC now and the white version in the near future. Mirrors my steelfish collection too (white, blue, DLC).

I figure blue is business casual, white is dressy, black is sporty

Exactly the same as mine.

Good to know it's SS like gen. Now I can rest easy that I won't be having crown striping problems.

To be fair to the blackbird, it did weigh 12% less at 72 grams.

Another thing to mention: Avenger GMT and Blackbird cases are different in measurements, too. They are not the same base. So you need different case molds.

Yeah, the Blackbird is slightly larger at 44mm and lighter, so this one is definitely SS.
I'll probably end up with at least two of them :)
One more thing - I see that some dealers offer the DLC version on rubber and some on canvas. Is that a free option? And the difference in pricing between dealers is enormous, just compare Trusty with Intime!!

@Alangep : Are the edges of the 5 minute markers on the dial exactly the same color as the hands ( grey )? Or are they much darker in real life?

One of the things that bothered me a lot on the Blackbird, were the black markers ( they should have been the same color as hands ). It's very obvious and once you see it, it can't be unseen...ever.. :)

They are darker than the hands, but not much.
A new thing I did not see and now yes [emoji23]

What happened to the Titanium models? I can't find any anywhere. I want it bad.
