Breitling Avenger Gmt GF vs Gen

Neither the rep or gen look like the pearl is very domed, it’s subtle. If they are different it’s hardly something that would be noticeable...
You won’t get called out about your pearl.

Yes you are right.
The domed pearl, under light conditions, reflect greenish or grey.
The rep is off, because the domed pearl. All the newest breit, with domed pearl, are different from reps.

You kept posting pictures to show the Pearl was green and none of them showed this. Then you accused members of not reading posts, which was wrong. We just couldn't understand the point you were trying to make. You're still going on about the green pearl even though @tyrantblade says he has never seen this. The issue here is flat pearl v slightly domed pearl which can be shown pictorially, the colour thing is a distraction imho.

Gen pearl is white. Really white. C1 lume. And the sapphire on top of the lume is slightly domed. That‘s it.

If you take a view from an angle the sapphire pearl shows a lens effect. But not green. If you can see green color the reason is that the lume is already loaded. You can see this under certain daylight conditions, too.

Thanks for your input mate, really good to hear from someone with the gen. I received my GMT this morning and the pearl is white and domed, NOT flat. Looks very similar to pics of gen pearls. Reflection has lens effect which following pics don't capture that well but dispels the flat pearl claims.

These Avenger GMTs are one of the best reps I‘ve ever seen. Now with this pro-III bracelet there are only minor flaws. Still the small 3h index is a tad too short. But who knows? And the clasp of the bracelet has got missing engraving „manufacture en suisse“. But nowadays there are new clasps from Breitling Colts in the wild without this engraving, too. Maybe Breitling changed the manufacturing location of the bracelets belonging to the cheaper beginner models like the Colt.

Thanks buddy, I'll post some more pics later when i've got all the plastic off and re-sized it, as I know the guys want to see the bracelet combo, but I have to say the quality of this watch is superb

Well; i guess rep pearl isnt flat; just perhaps not quite domed enough.

Reps still need good AR and deeper engravings.

Looking at all 3 of the GMTs on bracelet on TT site (non trusted dealer here) they have got the domed pearl, so this looks like an improvement to go with the wrong datefont!! Lucy somehow managed to get me both domed and correct font

Hey Andyr, my native language is not English, but I'm going to use google translate, to avoid misunderstandings again.
When I went to the AD dealer, I tried on the wrist the avenger with black dial. There was indoor LED light and I was surprised that the index of the bezel looks like a magnifying glass, on the lume. Much more domed than that existing in replicas. If you put one next to the other,you see the difference. Also according to the position, the pearl changes the color. From a grayish to a greenish.
It may be that there are different items and the ones I see in stores in Spain, are different batches.
I have an avenger seawolf II that was sent to factory for a defect in dial, and it was that day when I tried the avenger. I also have the avenger II replica.

Hey pelusito, how are you? Thanks for the pictures. So you have also got the Avenger GMT with domed pearl and correct colour. I get what you meant about the flat and domed pearl but it was the green colour that was confusing some of us as we could not see that. I suspect the green you mention maybe the lume if the watch was under LEDs. Anyway it looks like GF have got it right for the GMT so lets hope they sort it for the rest of the Avenger range. Cheers
