I talked with Lucy few months ago when she said it will be available soon (obviosly not) and didn't contact her again after that. Then, before I bought 01, I asked Sead if it's available but again with no luck. According to him it should be available again after CNY but looks it will take much longer.

Looks like gen is only reasonable option. :hehehe:

Thanks mate! 03 would probably fit better on my wrist but I love this one more and more. Just waiting for strap from Jeremy to complete the look of it. Rubber is ok but not what I prefer for this watch.

That's exactly what I'm doing right now with some exceptions. I'm leaving almost all PAMs for the end and now getting rare birds like BR, U-42, Ploprof...

It is even better since by the time you get around to the really hot watches they will be several versions along and you get even better reps, though you will pay more...

That was also my point but I'm doing this primarily to get pieces that have good chance of being out of production. Also new versions are slightly more expensive than previous ones or priced the same. Look at the AP Diver for example.

If it's not in stock anywhere else than it isn't from Puretime either and I really doubt that it's in production again. You can always send an email to Angus to check this, it's written on every picture on his website.

Started this thread months ago and I've finally had enough waiting. I ordered a gen B&R 03-92 today from Authentic Watches .com http://www.authenticwatches.com/bell-ross-br03-92-carbon-blue.html Black case and face w/ blue hands & numerals. have wanted this watch since I first saw it years ago in Watchtime magazine.

With no local dealer and a great sale price on the $4,200 US retail watch ($3,169) I made the jump. I got another 3% off by paying by Bank transfer. Its a special order watch so they say 8 weeks. Free shipping is also included as is a 3 year warrenty.

I bought my Oris small seconds from AW.com as well and their prices can't be beat.

If they ever decide to rep the BR03-92 again I mught buy a SS model.

Will post pics when it arrives.

Wow congrats bud! You finally pulled the trigger. Price is great for new 03-92 although I wouldn't go with blue but it's just matter of personal taste. Can't wait to see the pics. I hope you get it soon and enjoy it as much as you can. :thumbsup:

I got mine about 3 months ago from Sead (Supermirrors) for around $210 plus shipping. I love the watch (although it has wrong ''Limited edition'' inscription on dial) but I'm not sure if it's still available.

Don't know which buckle to put on it. You have any recommedations? Would PAM pre-v or GPF look good or it's better to put B&R style buckle on it?

Well OEM will be too expensive since this is not a watch I wear most of the time but B&R shape buckle will do the job. Thanks for suggestion.

UPDATE!

Got a call from Authentic Watches dot com filled with excuses and and apologies telling the black case/face - blue hands/ numerals BR03-92 I ordered and paid for 8 weeks ago was no longer available.

They claimed at the time I ordered the watch it was still available and they even contacted B&R trying to source me one thru their dealer network but neither the company or any of their re-sellers had stock.

I was choked as I wanted to fit it with this strap:

I was quite unhappy with them as they are aggressively pushing me to buy the ceramic model with the pale blue hands and numerals.

I do not like that watch at all... It looks faded and is just not a look I like. Despite being ceramic It's cheaper than than the one I ordered by a couple hundred.

I am torn between asking for a full refund (which they said they would of course do) OR buying the SS case / black face / white hands / rubber strap model with date window (see below) I'm sure they are willing to offer me a further discount on a watch they have in stock rather than refund my money. They already offered me a 6 year warranty (up from 3 years) on any other watch I buy.

If a rep was available I would buy it in a second and put the balance of money to something else. If I could find a minty pre-owned model like the one I want I would buy it. I've seen a few on eBay but never a new or worn but as new at a decent price.

My other options are work them for a deal on any of these which are a bit more money:

Black ceramic model w/ white & rubber

Carbon model

Then there is the military-inspired olive drab ceramic

The color and style looks super bad-ass, but it is $800 more than the money I have on account with them and I just don't want to spend that much on a B&R... SOMEBODY REP THIS!

And as mentioned I'm thinking maybe I should grind them for an even-better price on the plain-Jane SS w/ black face and white hands/markers (its about $700 less than the money of mine they are sitting on)

It's a clean and simple B&R and if I could get them to discount it another $200 or so I would have almost a grand in refund money to buy a couple nice reps or actually spend some money on something other than watches!

If money was no object I might get their new Rocket model... its a real departure for B&R... the face might be a bit busy bit I love the new strap.

I dunno' what would you do?
