Gen crown does fit the tc tube. Fitting the tc tube does require tapping, but it is much easier than gen because of flat base.

Which movement did you get?

Movement is Swiss ETA, that just happened to be what Sead had in stock in the UK, i'm not normally fussed about Swiss, and generally go for the clones, but this has been looked at by Seads watchsmith and the watch was also waterproofed.

I'm really happy with the look and feel of this watch, and the pearl is amazing IMO.

He had a couple that were swiss/waterproofed at a good price. Nice pickup. The dial looks good on yours, too.

I can finally join the club! I sold my TC v5. to fund a franken project and both of my Sub projects are in the care of JMB so I purchased the RSH modded BPSD.

Finally got my BPSD from Ryan today. I used DHL this time around and wow was it fast. I ordered last Friday, QC on Sunday, and delivered Wednesday.

I sold my TC with high hopes for this one and I'm enjoying it already.

Good ole BP QC for ya. Crooked 9 hour marker but I accepted it anyway. I didn't want to delay getting my watch.

Probably one of the best pearls to come out of the factories. I'm very impressed.

LOL. Crooked hour marker. No problem!

Took the movement out. Removed the hands and dial and readjusted the marker. This will hold me over until my TC hands and dial come in.

Installed "gen style" click spring from WM.

All done for now! Sanded down my TC bracelet and all is well. A very good rep with a little bit of work.

Working on one of these BP SD right now, in for TC parts conversion, and a new movement. Be warned that your new shiny BP SD has a DWO on top of an old, used, dirty DW. This is what I found in the one I'm working on...

Mines on its way from Gary! can't wait to see how it turned out.. He didn't put the Gen insert in as it needed modding. I'll make the decision as to whether it's worth it or not to send it to a modder for fitting when it gets here..

Build sheet is,

1. BP seadweller
2. TC 2824 with H4 with V3 DWO
3. TC dial, hands, tube, bracelet
4. Gen crown
5. Gen insert possibly

Jordan, that insert of yours is very nice and shiny new. :) The replica is also so close. The gen might fit but I didn't have the heart to keep pushing it. If you find a modder to do it, I want to know what he/she did to it to get it to fit. You have a nice watch and I think you should flip the gen insert, but that is just me. Enjoy.

What movement was in that BPSD?

Was a dead Asian clone. Replaced the movement with a 2824 ETA clone.

Here's the date wheel now as it stands.

Teeth straightened, and surface prepped for overlay funness.
