has anyone compared the clarks hands to TC ones? i know the lume is not as bright on clarks, but what about in regular daylight?
in particular, id be interested to see BP dial/ clarks hands combo, vs TC dial/hands combo. I think the dial looks really really close between the BP and TC that if clarks hands look just as good on stock dial, it will really save members some good coin !
Ok... Here is what I know today. I have a thread pitch gauge. I am in the fastener industry. I bought Startime, Clark, WO, Otto, Esslinger tubes that are generic. They are .3 pitch. The BP cases/tubes that I have done are .5 pitch.
To confuse you more, I used .35 pitch tap into my BP case and that also worked.
WM9? Can you even buy from him anymore? I use TC.
Summary. Gen should be .3. BP case and tube (the ones I worked on) were .5.
Your mileage may vary. If you start your tube into the case and get resistance, something is fecked up.
Best thing to do IMHO, is evaluate what you have, then proceed accordingly.
Tc hands match
In 3 years of rep collecting I've never known a thread to get so hung up on DW centration! But before we all get our knickers in a twist check out this Youtube vid of a gen...

If I didn't know better his DW is slightly left justified also. And I had to chuckle when he was confused why his beautiful Rolex didn't change date until 12.06. Damn, my crappy fake changes at 12.01 :hehehe:
That made me laugh, the guy was starting to do my head in saying, "ok" all the bloody time lol
You didn't have to trim the dial or the case did you? I've read some people say you need to and some say no need to.
