Daniel, you have opened the gates my man. Be prepared for the influx. The better question is what didn't he do. lol We didn't pop the crystal out.
1. Sanded the back of the insert to lower it just enough, then epoxied it very carefully.
2. Milled a beveled recess for the gen crown tube to sit flush with the case. That was a bitch!
3. Installed a gen (Generic) Click spring.
The rest I'll let Q, que you in on the rest.
Oi, I knew it looked too minty fresh. It's so good it pushes my gen buttons. I'm going to grab a 2836 clone version and join you guys in some fun.
I have zero classic sub/SD's in the box, and I have a wild hair up my ass to sell my current collection to fund a gen Rolex sport model.. I suppose I should test the waters 1st.
I'm so wishy washy. Lately I want to ditch my rep collection, buy a gen SD and experience the "I made it. I have a gen Sub/SD/etc.."
I've got 20-someodd awesome reps and I just look at them, don't even wear 'em.
